Series two of the QMS podcast will focus on initiatives which can help Scottish farmers improve the productivity, profitability and sustainability of their businesses.

In the first episode of the second series,  John Evans, QMS Knowledge Transfer Specialist is joined by Andrew Marchant, who farms at Chlonhie.  Andrew was Nithsdale Monitor Farmer 2016 to 2019 and highlights the changes he made on his farm to reduce his carbon footprint by a third and the benefits of being a Monitor Farmer.

Following on from the first series which highlighted the Scottish red meat industry’s response to the coronavirus pandemic, the new series of podcasts will cover topics such as animal health, grassland management and sustainability and will draw together experts, farmers and stakeholders to hear their views and the all-important facts.
