God's love for his children is the bedrock of all our happiness and security. We must diligently maintain our place within his love through spiritual growth, seeking his favor and will in Spirit-led prayer, and earnestly yearning for Christ's return.

In evil days, remember that all time is moving towards God’s appointed day of appearing when all evil will be stopped and judged. Be encouraged that things are going according to plan and focus on spirit-filled selfless love and unity.

False teachers attempt to break the congregation off from their God-given leaders by stirring up mistrust and false accusations. Believers must maintain a humble heart towards the elders of the church and withdraw from those who stir up rebellion and division.

These false teachers greedily cause others to stumble for their own profit. Believers must beware of influences that lead them to compromise in their obedience to Christ.

These false teachers walk in the way of Cain rather than Christ. They reject God as lawgiver and judge, they worship according to their own inventions rather than God’s instructions, and they jealously and hatefully abuse any who walk in the Lord’s path. 

The humble children of God will not even slander those who have become monsters of evil. It is a sad irony that those who self-righteously condemn the wicked show themselves to be just like them in their prideful dethroning of God in their heart. Instead of speaking our own judgments, we point to the Lord’s standard and the confident expectation that he will silence every voice and vindicate every person that he has made righteous in Christ.

God will certainly judge 100% of unbelief and rebellion with everlasting destruction; Those who embrace a life of forbidden pleasure are consumed by an ever increasing enslavement, debasement, and emptiness as a foretaste of the coming judgement of sin.
