Heavy workloads and tight deadlines are unavoidable in management. Who doesn't become overwhelmed or overworked from time to time? However, when constant work stress pushes you into the debilitating state known as burnout, it's a major problem that affects not only your own performance and well-being but also the performance and well-being of others. This is especially true during the past two years that we are in the middle of a pandemic. People were forced to juggle jobs, caregiving, and overwhelming stress and worry, and this number is likely to have escalated.
