“Sasha, this is not your fight”. I have to remind myself of that when dealing with challenges throughout life because choosing your battles can affect the quality of your life.

At 25 years old my world was changed when I received a heartbreaking diagnosis. This weekend, for the first time ever, I shared my story of how I am dealing with healing.

Last year my friend asked a jarring question that made me reevaluate my life and the things that I value.  As a result I learned a lot about myself and my expectations.

The change that takes place when you decide to shift your perspective continues to amaze me! This “Power Tool” allows us to control our mood and often responses to situations!

My mother taught me so many things, especially how to put myself first and protect my space and my peace! Shouts go out to my mother, VeraVee for her wisdom.

It’s been said many times over “No one is coming to save you”. 731 teaches why its important to save yourself even when it hurts!

Focus less on what others are doing and commit to running your own race! You will find that you will grow and experience a high level of fulfillment when you run your race.

Over at Camp #731 we believe to be weird is to be right! Instead of suppressing our “crazy” thoughts and ideas, we are honoring those and building our lives!

Listening and communicating with God was critical to my healing journey.  Through #731 my faith was restored and I was able to hear God’s voice.
