We all struggle with imperfection. We tend to hold onto our past failures more than we celebrate our past victories.

Some days we’ll crush a workout, eat like a champ, have a positive mindset and optimistic attitude. Then other days we miss a workout, have fried chicken for breakfast and want to bury our head in a pillow of tears. It happens!

What we learn from our parents will stick with us for life. We can follow in their footsteps or sometimes we have to take the good and leave the rest behind. Being raised by a single mother was not a smooth and easy road but it allowed me to witness the extreme courage and strength a woman can possess when it comes to fighting for her family.
