All lighthouses are haunted. There's just something about them that seems to attract that kind of paranormal energy. Perhaps it's the long hours of isolation and solitude. Perhaps its the anxious turbulence of a keeper holding steadfast watch over the ships at sea.  Whatever it may be - today we will explore two sister lighthouses and the hauntings that attached to them. There are 42 cemeteries in the New Orleans area - all with stories to tell. However, in 2002, when the final resting place of over 150,000 souls was threatened with being turned into a city bus stop, the denizens of the earth decided to cry out at the injustice. The disturbances in the area became so intense that the city called in a psychic medium to investigate. What they would uncover would change the way the City That Survives would grieve its past forever.

The Seaman's Bethel in New Orleans served as a chapel & place of sanctuary for many a weary sailor, home from a long journey. However, before it was a mariner's church, it was a private residence - and the tragedy of that family's story continued to play out in a heartbreaking cycle, long after the residents had moved on.
