Shadow Politics with Senator Michael D Brown
    Guest,  Constance A Morella
A Discussion About National Politics, the New Republican Congress & why We No Longer Get along with CONGRESSWOMAN CONNIE MORELLA! I will speak with the congresswoman about what's happening in national politics today and why we no longer have bipartisan cooperation in the House of Representatives. What can we expect of the new Republican Congress? How can we go back to a time when legislative cooperation moved our country forward? Is there a chance that both sides can work together on the debt ceiling, the economy and gun violence or are we destined for perpetual deadlock?

I'll ask Jonetta about the uptick in racism in America, gun violence on the streets of Washington, DC and what we should expect with the new Congress.

Eleanor Clift and I will discuss the results of the General Election, which seem to be more of a "red ripple" than a "red wave."
What will this mean for the Biden administration and, more importantly, what will it mean for the District which is subject to the control of Congress? I look forward to hearing Eleanor's insights on politics in America, the divide in public opinion and what she sees going forward with our economy and for our community.
You are invited to tune into, and participate in, our post-election conversation as we discuss where America is now headed after the midterms.
