Part 1 of 2. Interview w/intersex and endosex nonbinary people. Jet
Guadalupe Flores and Mo Cortez talk about their gender identities (e.g.
nonbinary), their sexual identities (e.g. pansexual), pronouns they
use, and where they grew up. We also talk about trans healthcare, such
as hormone use and surgeries, and the harsh reality of being a trans or
intersex person in Texas.
Mo Cortez talks about being both intersex and trans and they talk about
the early, forced medical intervention their life, the realization of
being intersex, shame around that, continued invasive medical
interventions, and the activism they do around intersex and trans
issues.
We also briefly touch on being pansexual, being poly vs being in an open
marriage, and the gender binary myth and its relationship to white
supremacy.

Other Conversations is an independent, informal oral history project by
