Episode Description
In this episode, I share my gratitude as we come together for
Thanksgiving. This year has been especially meaningful because my
family, my friends, and I prepared a Thanksgiving dinner for people in
the Break community and for those who work at the Lighthouse For The
Bride—people who might otherwise spend the holiday alone. Seeing
everyone enjoy the food, feel welcomed, and appreciate the kindness
truly touched my heart.
Working four days a week at the Lighthouse For The Bride has taught me
so much. The people there are kind, supportive, and helpful. Through
this experience, I’ve grown more independent, confident, and stronger in
how I live my life. Sometimes life feels like a circle, going around and
around, but moments like these remind me that we are all connected, and
none of us are alone.
I want to share my story to remind everyone that many people are
struggling, hoping for better days, and trying their best—just like you,
just like me. Support, kindness, and community make all the difference.
Thank you to everyone who has stood by me—my friends, my family, my
husband, my daughter, and my father and mother-in-law. I appreciate you
all so much. This episode is dedicated to gratitude, hope, and the power
of caring for each other.
Episode Description
In this episode, I share a beautiful and heartfelt Thanksgiving
experience that reminded me of the power of kindness, community, and
togetherness. This year, my family and friends came together to prepare
a warm Thanksgiving dinner for people who often feel alone—those without
family, those who are isolated, and those who are part of the Lighthouse
for the Blind community.
With love and teamwork, my amazing friends cooked incredible food and
opened their hearts to welcome everyone as family. We invited coworkers
and community members to join us at the table, and for those who didn’t
feel comfortable coming in person because of insecurity or shyness, we
delivered plates of food to their homes. Their smiles, gratitude, and
happiness made the whole day even more meaningful.
This Thanksgiving reminded me how important it is to reach out to people
who feel lonely, unseen, or disconnected. A simple meal, a warm
invitation, or a small act of kindness can make a huge difference. I am
deeply grateful to my family and friends who supported me—without them,
none of this would have been possible.
I hope this episode inspires someone out there to share love, food, and
connection with people who have no family or who feel alone during the
holidays. Sometimes, one gesture of kindness can change someone’s entire
day.
Episode Description
Thanksgiving Dinner
Episode Description
In this episode, I share a heartfelt story about Thanksgiving, kindness, and community. This year, my family, my friends, and I decided to host a Thanksgiving dinner for the people I work with at “the Bride”—especially those who don’t have family nearby, or who couldn’t travel home for the holiday.
I wanted to create a warm place for everyone to feel welcome. I know the feeling of loneliness, and I never want anyone to spend the holiday alone. So I opened my home and invited coworkers from different states, people who are by themselves, and anyone who needed a seat at the table.
I am thankful for the support I received from my family, my father-in-law, my mother-in-law, and my friends who helped with food, time, and money. Their kindness made this dinner possible. I’m excited, hopeful, and grateful for everyone who wants to join—even those who said “maybe.”
In this episode, I share what it means to come together, help one another, and accept help when we need it. Sometimes we all feel lonely, but when someone reaches out with kindness, it’s okay to say yes. I hope this Thanksgiving brings warmth to everyone who joins and to anyone listening today.
Episode Description In this episode, I open my heart and talk about the
reality many of us face every single day. People often say life is
fair—but I don’t see it that way. We work hard, we show up, we give
everything we have, yet nobody seems to appreciate it. Management
doesn’t see our effort. The community doesn’t understand our struggle.
And no matter how hard we try to prove what we can do, it feels like the
world still looks down on us.
For many of us working at the Lighthouse For The Blind, the truth is
painful. We want opportunities. We want to be hired, respected, and
valued. But instead, we’re stuck—trying to survive, trying to support
our families, trying to keep going even when life feels unfair.
In this episode, I share my experience and my feelings—not just for
myself, but for everyone out there who feels the same. You are not
alone. I am one of you. We are all trying our best in a world that
doesn’t always treat us fairly. And sometimes, sharing our story is the
only way to remind ourselves that our struggle matters.

Episode Description:
In this episode, I want to share my story and my plan for Thanksgiving. Every day, I think about how special it would be to have Thanksgiving dinner with my coworkers at the Lighthouse for the Blind. I just want to share my food, my gratitude, and my appreciation for the people who have been kind and supportive to me.
Many of us are facing similar challenges—looking for jobs, dealing with uncertainty, and trying to stay positive. I am thankful that Spokane has opportunities for people with vision loss. It gives hope and purpose to so many who are struggling.
Sometimes, it’s not easy. Many people live alone without family nearby, and that can be really hard. Loneliness can feel overwhelming, especially during the holidays. That’s why my family, friends, and I want to make a Thanksgiving dinner for everyone—to bring people together, share food, and create a sense of family and belonging.
I also want to say thank you to those who have shown kindness and patience, especially my coworkers and mentors who have taught me so much. Your compassion means more than words can say.
I hope my story reminds others that even in loneliness, kindness can light the way. We all need connection, love, and understanding. Maybe this Thanksgiving, we can all reach out to someone who needs a little warmth and remind them—they are not alone.

Episode Title: Survivor: A Journey Through Pain and Gratitude
In this episode, I open my heart to share my story — a story of survival, pain, and the strength to keep moving forward. Life has not been easy. I’ve faced trauma, depression, anger, and moments when everything felt impossible. But through it all, I’ve learned that even in the darkest times, love and support can light the way.
I want to take this moment to thank my family — my daughter, my husband, and everyone who stood by me during the hardest chapters of my life. Their care and understanding gave me the courage to heal and to believe in myself again.
By sharing my journey, I hope to remind others that they are not alone. We all go through struggles, and it’s okay to ask for help. It’s okay to feel pain — what matters most is not giving up. Together, we can find hope, healing, and strength to keep going.
Episode Description: In this episode, I want to share about the
wonderful support and community in Spokane. Maria and the team at the
Lighthouse for the Blind and DSB in Spokane are doing amazing work. They
organize so many meaningful activities that bring people together.
Today, I joined a joyful bicycle ride in downtown Spokane — it was
filled with volunteers, laughter, good food, and drinks. The love and
support from everyone truly made my day.
But this episode also comes with sadness. I recently lost someone very
special — a sweet, kind, and beautiful woman from Thailand who always
had a smile on her face. She was in her 90s, full of wisdom and grace,
and she will always be my role model. Her passing has deeply touched my
heart, but her memory and spirit will live on forever.
Through this story, I hope to remind others that life is full of both
joy and sorrow, and that community, kindness, and love are what carry us
through. May this episode bring comfort, encouragement, and hope to
anyone who listens.
