On this weeks episode of Shattering Ceilings we are talking about the Earth Element. As we near the end of summer, we are deep in the throes of the earth energy (from a Chinese medicine perspective) this can be a time of great abundance, or great emptiness.
As we prepare for the upcoming winter, now is the time to harvest. Let your self be filled with all that you took in this year, sink into gratitude.
Curious to know more about how this earthy energy could be showing up in you? Listen in to find out!

This weeks episode is exactly what the title eludes… a real-time example of how Lauren managed to find her way to and stay with phenomena when working through a difficult conversation with friends.
CALL TO ACTION:
Assume best intentions. This week, your call to action is to take a look at your close relationships. Who is someone in your life that you are not assuming best intentions?speaking with the best intentions? Can you create a story that better serves your relationship?
Bonus Exercise:
Take action. Have a conversation or reach out to the person you chose to focus on for the call to action. Inject love, kindness and compassion into the relationship to support and anchor on the new story you created.

Our life is a series of stories we create, based around the experiences we have.
What story are you telling?
Today, we're diving into a thought-provoking topic: the clash between story and phenomena.
CALL TO ACTION:
Pay attention to the stories you’re creating. When you catch yourself getting caught up in a story this week, pause and bring yourself back the present moment: observe the phenomena.
Bonus Exercise:
Write the story down in your Shattering Ceilings notebook and dissect it. Where did this story come from? What is fact and true about this situation. What phenomena did you observe?

Conditioning… we’ve all got it. Some of it is really helpful, like look both ways before you cross the road. While other conditioning … not so much… for example, you have to “earn” rest.
So how do we get rid of conditioning that doesn’t serve us? Tune in to todays episode to find out!
CALL TO ACTION:
Take notice of moments where conditioning pops up for you this week. Write them down and reflect on whether this conditioning supports the person who you are in this moment or if it’s time to let it go.
Bonus Exercise:
Get a notebook, and using it to complete your weekly Shattering Ceilings call to action exercise.

This is a conversation on compassion. How to have it even through difficult moments and conversations. In a world where we seem so divided, be the compassionate human that bridges the gap between our differences.
When we live in a vacuum, we cannot grow. It is the moments where we feel challenged, where we disagree, where we don’t yet understand, that expand us. So come sit with us as we discuss how necessary and integral of a role compassion plays in communication and life.
Call to Action:
Where is there an edge in you that can be softened? This week, when you hit an uncomfortable edge, rather than challenge the opposing party or getting defensive, practice compassion and notice how your perspective and response might change.
