  • COPA 71 - The Lost Lionesses - with football player Leah Caleb
In this episode we dig into the incredible story of the forgotten (til now) 1971 Women's World Cup in Mexico, completely erased by history.
Thanks to the documentary COPA 71, produced by Serena and Venus Williams, this incredible event is finally getting the spotlight it deserves and.. a second life!
    ** You won't believe it **
A huge Women's World Cup took place in Mexico City in 1971, complete with sponsors, paparazzi, merchandise, and a roaring crowd of over 100,000 at the opening match. But....this tournament was completely dismissed by FIFA and football national associations, and then completely erased from history! The English Football Association punished the players and manager: the team's manager Harry Batt was blacklisted for life and all the players received bans ranging between 3months and 12 from playing football. Thanks to the documentary COPA 71, these amazing players, the "Lost Lionesses," are finally getting the recognition they deserve as the movie brings this epic story back to life. Today's guest is Leah Caleb, who at just 13 was the youngest player of the squad. Hit play to know more about this story!

    • A chat with ex-NFL Coach Daron K. Roberts on Rejection & Impostor Syndrome

Have you ever heard of "Rejection Therapy"? It's a viral challenge on TikTok where people try to get rejected every day for 100 days, whether it's asking a stranger for a hug, a photo, or even 100 euro. The idea is to build resilience against the fear of social rejection.

Building rejection immunity, dealing with impostor syndrome and showing up as a male ally, are some of the topics we explore with Daron K. Roberts.

After 4 rejections he makes it into Harvard Law School. Then, instead of pursuing a legal path he decides he wants to follow his passion and be a football coach. After being rejected from 31 NFL teams, he finally makes it to be a coach with the NFL!

After spending seven years with the Kansas City Chiefs, Detroit Lions, Cleveland Browns and West Virginia Mountaineers, he creates the Center for Sports Leadership and Innovation at the University of Texas.
He's also a writer and his children's book on empathy was selected on Oprah's Favorite Things List and today he is a keynote speaker and an angel investor.
