In this episode, we will discuss mindset, business growth and how you need a badass mindset in order to get the growth that you want.
Mindset. mindset. mindset. Every successful person will tell you that mindset is vital when it comes to achieving success. And yet, so many people try to achieve their goals in the wrong way. They think that they can visualize their dreams and poof! They'll appear. But it doesn't work like that. For real, lasting change to occur, you must take actionable steps and work. Mindset is necessary, but it's not the be-all-end-all. You also need to have a plan and follow through with it.
As a coach, it's the mindset that keeps me moving. It burns that flame inside me to the passion I want: to help you. Even when I stumble, I am still inspired in my own business to make transitions, do new things, and push myself further and harder. It's not always within reach, but I am building this business gritty determination. I am not creating this business until I can get sales. I'm not building this business and shifting careers. This is me. This is my business. This is the thing that I am making until I retire or die. I am committed to helping you get into your mindset and grow.
So if you're ready to get serious about achieving your business growth goals, it's time to buckle down and get to work. But don't forget, mindset is still vital - believe in yourself and your ability to achieve great things!
Let me know if you're not fired up or need me to help you get fired up. Pop into my DMS. Let's have a conversation. Go out, and have a badass day wherever you are right now in your business.
Must-listen Moments:
[02:25] Have you noticed how far you've come in your journey to get to the person you want to be? We have to pay attention, and we have to pay attention to the evidence piling up of what we're capable of, what we're able to do, and what we are actually doing.
[05:46] I am committed to doing whatever it takes to build my business. And I know as the audience that surrounds me, you guys are the same. And some days, it's easy to find that energy. It's easy to be lit up, inspired, and motivated to do that in your business. And some days. It is hard as hell, and it is hard.
[09:21] The difference between staying where you are and feeling stuck and crappy about it and getting beyond this little stumble to achieve what you want is finding the right people or someone to bridge that gap. Will you stay stuck, or will you take action on that phase? That's what you need to do. You need to find the person that is going to inspire you.

You cannot go full throttle all the time. And have that work out well!
Are you exhausted and experiencing a sense of everything collapsing around you? Today, I want to talk about the three critical areas that make you play small in your business, offer a resolution, and show you how to push back and get back in step with your business.
Your three-year vision is, therefore, the first point I want to make on this subject. What kind of business owner do you envision yourself as in three years? Your answers to these questions are crucial and must be done regularly regardless of where you are in your business or your stage. Keeping the result in mind would be beneficial as you build the company. It would be helpful if you also kept a loose grasp on the method you believe you would use. Be flexible and don’t be afraid to go back to the drawing board again.
The second part is you need to ask yourself, do you think I can grow a business large enough to make that a reality in my personal life after looking at that vision? Then after reflecting on it, it's to increase your effort and exert more effort. Embrace the discomfort of considering what you might be able to accomplish. And the last piece for you guys is that I want you to list down what you are passionate about and what you believe will cause transformation that will be heard and seen worldwide. Do all of your followers understand what you do, who you genuinely assist, and why it profoundly impacts their lives? Do they realize it? They might be a good platform for you. Right? I consider my network, my friends, my family, and everyone else, and I want them to be my ambassadors because they are so sure of what I do and who I help.
Finally, I want to discuss how to keep up this motivation and desire without eventually giving up. Thanks for listening, and I hope you'll walk away with something valuable you can implement in your business right now. Remember, I am always here as your guide, and there is nothing I love more than talking business.
Must-listen Moments:
[03:25] What is the way that you see yourself as a business owner three years down the path from right now? What do you want your life to look like? What does the business vision allow for you to shift and change in your actual life?
[09:06] Success is like fishing, it’s a slow patient process and there's a reason for it. Another one is putting yourself out there, It is a long buildup and I do believe social media is really critical to your business.
[14:43] The third piece I wrote down is your passion for and your ability to create results in transformation loud and proud in the world. Do all of your people know what you do and who you actually help and why it's so transformational in their lives? Do they know? Could they be your commercial?

Nowadays, as an entrepreneur, a business owner, and a mom who works from home, I adore it when the kids are now going back to school.
Those calming moments when the kids are out the door, I enjoy how quiet my home becomes. I love that I've finally realized that I need to put my work on hold before the kids get home so that I can switch into mom mode and not feel completely frazzled when they come in and want to tell me all about their day. I am excited about it and now it's the time of the year again that it happens.
The seasons are now changing for us entrepreneurs and work-from-home moms, and my tip is to make use of this as an opportunity to reflect on the progress that you have had. Evaluate your schedule since there will be a shift within your time. Decide how you want to work and when you want to work. What worked best for your current season and schedule? Trust me, it will make all the difference, and you can move these things around and have them work well.
The main point of this week's episode is simple; I want you to realize that you do not have to work all the hours to build a profitable business that will support your family and your life. Give yourself the flexibility and freedom, and then start showing yourself you can make more money with less time at work than you think. Plan your calendar, evaluate your time so you can build the life you are trying to develop, and do your business to support it.
You're the boss! As your first assignment for this school year, I want you to look at your calendar and make it work for you.
Enjoy the transition!
Must-listen Moments:
[04:15] I want you to remember that the joy of a change of season is also a time to reflect on how and when you are working. What hours you're putting things in allows you a natural break in the rhythm to reconsider the way you're doing something.
[06:48] When was the last time you evaluated your entire schedule and decided how you wanted to work when you wanted to work? What worked best for your current season and schedule?
[07:43] When looking at your calendar, put in the time off; do it immediately. I want to push you hard to ask how you can earn more money while working less.

[05:48 When you start to think about additional ways to scale, I want you to look beyond just that capacity for the tried and true methods you've always used, and consider being interviewed on a podcast.
[09:28 ] She Needs Grit wants to have more then my voice in this microphone

It's that time of year again! The leaves are changing, the weather is cooling off, and students are returning to school. For many of us, that also means our schedules are getting much busier.
If you're like me, you're knee-deep in figuring out how to manage your time and keep everything straight. Managing your time can be challenging, especially when you have a lot of different commitments. But you can do some simple things to make the process a bit easier.
It can be easy to forget that as an entrepreneur, we are in control of our schedule. When we start our own business, we expect that we will have more free time and flexibility in our lives. However, it is easy to fall into the trap of working all the time, feeling like we have no control over our time.
The reality is that as the boss, we can figure out how many hours we want to work, how much we want to charge, and what comes first. If we struggle to manage our time, this episode was meant to give us an idea of how we can do things differently. As entrepreneurs, it is essential to remember that we are in control of our schedules and can create the lives we want for ourselves. Thanks for listening!
Must-listen Moments:
[01:32] I'll tell you a little bit about how I'm currently struggling, and I will, if nothing else, I hope in part to you that this is just the reality of being an entrepreneur, of being a parent, or maybe just being a human being. Right. So we're going to give ourselves a lot of space and understanding as we transition from one season to the next.
[08:26 ] Come August seven, When kids are back in school and in school for 6 hours at a time. The amount of flexibility and freedom I have for just managing other people goes down significantly. So here's my plan to navigate things around me.
[10:27] As an entrepreneur and a parent, I can say that “make it work!” in a way that means it feels good that you're working the amount that you want to be working without overworking, without killing yourself.

For the dads and moms out there that are listening. This is for you!
Mom/Dad guilt is a phrase that says that when you're feeling torn between work time and family time and feeling like you need to be working when you're with your kids or when you're at home and feeling like when you're at work, you should be spending more time with the kids. I genuinely think that many business owners experience this because it appears to be we are in control of the situation, which I feel can do more harm than good. If we aren't aware of this and take action, everything will fall out.
I know everyone desires to have active participation in their family lives and, at the same time, have the time and flexibility to handle our business; that's why you have to listen in this episode because I will speak about some of the learnings and practices that I make in my home to keep everything in shape and all priorities are in place.
If your goal is to feel at peace, succeed in our careers, and fulfill our duties as a parent, listen and let me help pull you out to build that flexibility and ditch the mom guilt.
Must-listen Moments:
[02:24] We are in that position of feeling torn and feeling like half in half out of all of the parts of our lives while we're doing it, instead of taking dedicated time and dedicated effort to essential things
[06:13 ] I want you to talk to yourself about how clear and concise you have made your work hours to your kids. Maybe the question should be how clearly and concisely have you outlined your work hours for yourself?
[12:27] You are showing them that you're going after your dreams. You're showing them that you're working hard to create the result that you want to make. I think that lesson; sometimes we forget how valuable that is for our kids to see that. You're a shining example of someone who goes after it and does it and focuses on it.

Let's begin with the obvious: You do business and aim to be your own boss to build time for your family, travel, and have a leisurely life. In my experience as a coach, many entrepreneurs fail to achieve that goal.
You can start a business that can help you make a living. In entrepreneurship, people frequently declare their desire for something while failing to make the necessary effort to achieve it. Instead of fulfilling their dreams and goals and living the lifestyle they have imagined, they work more hours than ever. In the end, they will earn less and do more work. They are sacrificing so much on the other side of things that it doesn't even have value. The ending is that many of them ended up burning out, but if the CRUSH formula is in the equation plus mapping out a good structure in the business so that it moves from the back end, the lifestyle that you have imagined will come to place.
Live your life, and don't let your business take over you; and if your business has become your life, you're doing it wrong; you're doing it hard and making it not feel good. So if you feel the same way, I have lots of tips stored in this episode, but one of the easiest tips that I can offer that will give you an immediate answer is to talk to me and let us discuss about where you are right now, where you want to be, and what is getting in the way. So like, you're walking away with clarity and sureness in what you could do to create that shift in your business.
I tell you, this problem will indeed block you from growing, but it will be effortless and you will get through it. Let’s try to weave these negative habits and find how to rewire this issue so that it will make your heart light up again .
Must-listen Moments:
[02:49] The CRUSH formula and its five categories are lined up nicely, and if you follow those and like to study the formula by heart and have them super dialed in, you will be successful in your business. You're going to be able to create the life you want, the income you want, the flexibility you want, all of the things.
[06:02 ] A little story about my dad is one of the memories I have as a kid. So my dad owned a construction company, and I remember going on a holiday. I don't know what year this would have been, but going on a holiday to British Columbia, I remember a lot about that trip, especially how my dad navigated his business while us in the trip.
[09:43] I want you to ask yourself, what kind of life do I want to live and what do I want to have in my life? More of? Do you want to be able to take every Friday off and work a four day workweek? Do you want to be able to travel for extended periods of time regularly, not just that one off dream vacation? Do you want to be able to have the income to upgrade to your dream house, which is property somewhere and not be in that city?

As a sales person we often receive rejections and that is where I want you to activate those Grit Muscles. They decline, So What!? Right?
I always tell everyone that rejections are redirections because we can't deny that the competition is very stiff. Maybe your clients found the connection that they are looking for with others. You can't control people's minds, but to tell you, you can handle creating trust in that relationship and building trust in that engagement. In this episode, I will give you a helpful mindset you can use when you get into this predicament.
I feel that these experiences are lessons and are an excellent opportunity to evaluate. Perhaps after hearing "NO," you should try to get in touch with them again, maintain your contact, learn about their requirements, and assess and identify the cause of their refusal so that you can move on to the next person and build stronger bonds and more trust with them. You know, DON'T HATE THEM! Go back to them and know that helpful information. Their words are essential in growing your business, and also remember your pure purpose, which is educating others and helping them.
Remember to always be bold in your actions, despite that sick feeling in your stomach when you're about to do something new that feels really difficult or uncomfortable. Do it anyway, and don't let fear take control; instead, let it ride alongside you and hang out for the ride. Keep in mind that to position your company at the forefront of the market, you must develop your grit muscles, master the energies of your clients, and reevaluate your plans to have a fantastic and effective comeback once you can meet a new client.
Must-listen Moments:
[03:13] Keep practicing and keep track of how you're doing. This is another area where I think you can make massive strides in your business and the bottom line of your business. How long does it take you to get a client if you start tracking?
[06:27 ] I was hoping you could think about these topics, grow your grit, and see how much it will inevitably boost your sales. So practicing with intent, looking at what part of your business you need to improve, and what part of your business are you not consistent in?
[10:41] You just need to keep the door shut, let the popcorn cook, and keep up with what you're doing in your business. That has worked in the past all of the time. Right. You are keeping your consistency.

Part 2 of my Sales Mastery Masterclass
As a sales professional, you need to establish your personality for selling, and you can build that by remembering these four things.
It's time to put your newfound grit muscles to work by incorporating them into your sales process. The four strategies listed below will help you with your opening pitch and help you achieve your success and goals: establish rapport, take the initiative, listen more, and confidently 'own' your price.
I want you to establish that rapport and provide solace in the first segment of this episode. Be welcoming and foster open dialogue with your customers and potential customers. Make them feel comfortable talking to you and enthusiastic about that interaction. Finding and establishing commonality is another suggestion. Then, please sketch out how you want the call to end. Think about their reactions to the services you'll be offering. Take control of the dialogue that will follow by being prepared and organized. After making that timeline, remember that during a call, you should listen more than talk. Be curious and ask questions. Keep in mind that this isn't just about you.
Finally, I was hoping you could take note of this mindset before dropping the bomb on your price; I know it feels awkward when talking about money but remember to give the client space to consider your offer. And every time you do that, and when you think about how many times it's going to get to the point that it's as comfortable as telling somebody your phone number, right? It just works that muscle to get rid of any of that anxiety or that weird feeling.
If we go through these steps as you develop your sales mastery, it will be simple to deliver any sales pitch or make any calls.
Must-listen Moments:
[01:30] TThe first step is to work on building rapport and comfort. As a result, you want your client to feel comfortable and secure with you during that chat. You want to find points of commonality.
[07:51 ] But I frequently repeat this to my clients. I advise you to repeat your price aloud every time you wash your hands in the bathroom and gaze at yourself in the mirror for the nine seconds that you are there doing that.
[12:39] Now it's just up to you to provide the solution and to do it in a way that they feel engaged and motivated to take advantage of.

As entrepreneurs, if we can take the mindset of I'm going to work on this until it becomes successful, that's almost what guarantees success in general.
For us to succeed, there's one muscle we need to fortify: grit. Sales and doing business isn't a walk in the park; you need to have a strong foundation, you have to have the tenacity, and most importantly, you have the confidence and grit to face any challenges. In this episode, I will share with you 4 simple things on how to grow those grit muscles.
The first thing is to best practice your passion with intent. In this first tip, find your purpose and be in touch with your passion; then, develop that passion and skills and move that expertise from beginner to intermediate. Continue to generate those sales skills and pursue sales excellence over and over and over again. So doing that actively will create more grit and will create more results in the bottom line. After being intentional with your passion, always be ready and excited for challenges. Find that motivation and drive to succeed and then incorporate that character in building and fortifying your goals. To add more fuel to your burning passion, add some metrics to help you pursue more.
Then, don't let the fear stop you but ride with it! I think when you are at that point where you're on fire to do things, you may stumble upon roadblocks and detours, but that's okay; it's how the game of sales works. Let it sit beside you and exist and pursue the badass goals or actions you know you need to do to grow your business, not letting fear rule. And finally, be open to failure. So understanding that failure is a necessary component of your business development.
Must-listen Moments:
[03:26] The first thing is to practice with intent. I know that we are all doing a good job, but you need to be seeking to better yourself in whatever your industry is.
[05:22 ] Suppose you're the kind of person motivated by a challenge or a game, then I want you to start building that into your business.
[10:00] The confidence comes from having the boldness to put the offer out there in the world and profoundly engaging in that confidence level every day. Build that confidence until you get to engage with people out in the world, trying to make sales.
