I will also give you a ton of tips to help navigate you through this difficult process. I will also share with you my #1 - most important piece of advice I can, coming from my personal experience and my professional experience as a family law paralegal.

In this 2 part series, today is a really tough one for me.

I open up my heart and share my journey marked by pain, adversity, and unimaginable trials.

My hope is that by me sharing my story of sexual abuse, growing up in poverty, and landing ignorantly in the middle of big time drug dealers will allow you to witness the resilience of the human spirit.

But the story doesn't end there.

I faced the shattering loss of close family members and the biological father of my children to suicide, only to end up in the middle of a domestic abuse situation.

Yet, in the midst of this darkness, a profound revelation emerged.
