It all stems from your spine & spinal cord - your brain, heart, organs, limbs - everything. I wanted to create a peaceful meditation for your spine's health, all based on Louise Hay's specific affirmations for each vertebrae.
We can draw many benefits from taking care of our backs, not only physically, but mentally! Here are just a couple ways you can benefit in doing the work from this episode:
It is referenced in history as "having a backbone" in making decisions (and standing up for yourself), and believing these affirmations can reassure you that you are fully capable of not only making decisions, but choosing the right ones for yourself and your family.
We tend to carry the weight of stress on our backs. As a Massage Therapist, I would say 90%+ of people I have worked with have the "weight of the world" knot on their shoulders. They are literally carrying the weight of their and other people's opinions, judgement, shame, fears and much more on their backs. Feel the knots melt away as you learn the weight of the world truly does not reside on your back and shoulders.
There are many more benefits to doing this work, and I can't wait to hear what you all think of this episode! Don't forget to stick around after the affirmations to learn how to handle the ones that didn't feel quite right when you said them. My mentor, Cayla Craft, calls this process "Afformations" and it is so helpful!
