It’s the fastest growing sport in America that you potentially haven’t heard of!
This week, we’re trying out Pickleball - a racquet sport that’s similar to ping-pong, played on a badminton court, with a tennis net.
It’s not as confusing as it sounds, trust us. One of the reasons for it growing so fast, is actually because of it being exceptionally easy. How easy exactly, is what we wanted to find out to see if you - our listener - should also be bothered trying it.
In this episode we talk about how the game is played, where it came from, and why it’s been so bloody successful. We also compare it to our experience with Padel Tennis in one of our previous episodes.
Also discussed - why Bill Gates’ calls Pickleball his favourite sport, how Pickleball athletes love to work their “dinks”, and our game of the week: “Pickle-bawl or Pickle-brawl”!
Whether you're a seasoned pickler or just curious and non-athletic like ourselves, this episode is a must-listen and honestly, it’s been our favourite episode to record to date.
Disclaimer: No Pickles were harmed in the making of this episode.
