Liam was in Calgary for the weekend doing a seminar as I was lucky enough to catch him just before that for a conversation about his life and career in Muay Thai. Looking to make his return to the battlefield in the not too distant future, we chat about his knee injury sustained in the fight with Nong-O, Liam also breaks down his INSANE fight with Muangthai! he also lets us in on why he chooses to have such a fan friendly style, his upcoming event HITMAN FIGHT LEAGUE and REALLY lets us know what he thinks about being called out by Alaverdi Ramazanov!!!

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving everyone! it's been a minute, so we have a few fights to talk about. Including a breakdown of my trip to Brampton Ontario to commentate for Rise of The Warrior, we had 2 weeks of One Championship having 2 cards on a Friday which brought a ton of exciting, world title match ups like Sundell vs Rodrigues and Stamp vs Ham Seo Hee as well included the ONE debut of the Raja champ - Sajad Sattari and other superstars like Tawanchai, Asa Ten Pow, Johnathan DiBella to name a few. The Friday Oct 6th show was supposed to feature Rafi Bohic from France in the main event, but this fight has been re scheduled - which is what inspired me to make a list of MY ALL TIME FAVORITE FIGHTERS FROM FRANCE! (55 min mark)

Today I got to sit and chat with Western Canadian Martial Arts pioneer, Mr. Lyle Cheney! I have known and followed Sensei Lyle for 30 years in Martial Arts from classes to fighting on his events to sitting beside him as a commentator as he's an official judge in the recent - a lot of my Martial Arts history is intertwined with Sensei Lyle. So today I got to turn back the clock and ask all those questions I've has since I was 12 years old, and talk old skool Martial Arts! SHOUT OUT TO YOU SENSEI LYLE!!

Not only is Charles a fantastic fighter, but he's also an actual Cowboy which is fitting for Stampede week here in Calgary! Charles tells his story about growing up on a ranch, finding Muay Thai, moving to California to chase a fighting and acting career, working all over Canada and the USA and now finding his way into bronc riding!

Charles has a wealth of Muay Thai knowledge from having over 50 fights in the ring as well as from learning under such legends as Rob Kaman and spending time in Thailand under legends to focus on his craft. What a great guy and a great fighter - SHOUT OUT TO YOU CHARLES!

Just an audio poddy today for ya - But we breakdown the HUGE Lumpinee Friday Fights event with pretty much every fight being an unreal match up, including a title fight between 2 fighters with over 800 fights combined! We also talk about the star studded RWS Super Welter Weight division up this weekend again with friend of the show Brad Stanton taking on the current champ Dani Rodriguez. I also re watch the MTWC from last weekend and give my thoughts on the fights I thought were close, didn't remember well, got the decision wrong or tried to find injuries or missed action from being at the event live.
