Digitalizarea relațiilor dintre cetățean și stat este o provocare serioasă, care pune la încercare și conceptul de „stat de drept.” În context digital, pot apărea noi probleme și noi soluții cu privire la protejarea drepturilor omului, separația puterilor în stat, supremația legii sau chiar independența justiției. Ne-am propus să explorăm aceste subiecte în conversații cu specialiști, punând accent pe protecția datelor personale, îngemănarea dintre drept și tehnologie ori securitatea sistemelor automatizate (inteligența artificială). 

În luna februarie, Programul Statul de Drept al Fundației Konrad Adenauer a lansat versiunea globală, în limba engleză, a podcastului Rule of Law Rules. În martie, Programul Statul de Drept Europa de Sud-Est a inițiat o versiune în limba română a acestui podcast, produsă de biroul regional de la București. Versiunea în limba română își propune să informeze și să educe publicul despre ce înseamnă „statul de drept” și cât de important este acest concept pentru omul obișnuit, să ajute la conștientizarea efectelor acestui concept în viața de zi cu zi.
