In 1966 Peter Bergman's pioneering talk show “Radio Free oZ” airs on Pacifica Network's KPFK. Bergman invited three friends – Philip Austin, the show's producer; David Ossman, the station's former dramatic director; and Philip Proctor, an actor – to join him as the four of them pretended to be the panel of an imaginary “oZ Film Festival”. This performance of "Radio Free oZ" marked the beginning of The Firesign Theatre's unparalleled career in comedy. Bergman returned with RFoZ in 2010, back on the 'air' with podcasts Monday through Friday, co-hosted with David Ossman. Sadly, Peter entered the Bozo Bus one last time on March 9, 2012, after complications from Leukemia. The Radio Free Oz team will continue Peter's legacy with archival material.

Shannon and Alyssa love live theatre and think you should too. Every year they see dozens of performances throughout the Louisville, KY area and have spent hours talking about them in their cars after the show. In their podcast, Parking Lot Talks, they'll try to convince each other to see shows, whether they liked them or not. Maybe they'll convince you too along the way.

I'm Clare Sudbery (@ClareSudbery on Insta and, well, pretty much everywhere). I'm an amateur singer and pianist, and after appearing on season 2 of The Piano TV show in 2024, I discovered just how many street pianists there are with great stories to tell. In this podcast I shared interviews with some of the many pianists I encountered on my regular musical wanderings. Sadly I couldn't afford to keep hosting them here on Buzzsprout, but you can still see and hear every episode on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@TheStreetPianistPodcast/podcasts
