  • Buck Off Podcast: The receiver three-peat, recruiting big board ahead of huge weekend, and Arch Manning's recruitment
On today’s episode of “Buck Off with Christopher Renne,” I am joined by Jordan Williams this week’s episode and we get into every major recruiting story from the week.
To start on this episode, we discuss the commitments from Carnell Tate, Brandon Inniss, and Noah Rogers this week. We get into what this means for Brian Hartline and how this week can lead into huge momentum for the rest of the class.
After that, we get into our updated recruiting big board which includes quite a few visitors heading to Columbus this weekend. During our big board discussion we also talk about the potential of this class and why it looks like a top-3 class as of now.
When we get back from the break we get into a conversation about Arch Manning’s recruitment. We talk about what it means to be a five-star quarterback and why people shouldn’t just buy into the hype because of his name. This leads to more conversations about quarterback recruiting and its challenges.
For the last part of the show, we get into the tweet that caught everyone’s eye from a certain Ohio State commit. Then we get into our final thoughts about Ohio State’s most recent trademark and how good the new field turf looks.

  • Play Like a Girl: Our favorite moments made possible by Title IX (06/21/22)
On LGHL’s Play Like a Girl podcast, Meredith Hein welcomes in friends from around the LGHL, Ohio State, and sporting worlds to talk everything from Ohio State sports to advocacy for women in sports and all the happenings in between.
This week is a very special week on Play Like a Girl, because Jami and Meredith get to break down the landmark Title IX legislation that made the landscape we see today for women in sports possible — from supporting a pipeline of athletes to fill outstanding professional leagues to giving a platform for girls to learn teamwork on the field.
The moments that have been made possible with Title IX are innumerable, from that iconic play in 1999 when Brandi Chastain ripped her shirt off to celebrate after a game-winning goal at the World Cup finals to more than two decades later when Sarah Fuller became the first woman to score points in a Power Five football game.
Here’s to many more amazing moments for women in sports to come.

  • I-70 Football Show: Happy Fathers Day & Juneteenth
Welcome to a new episode of Land-Grant Holy Land’s I-70 podcast. On this show we talk all things Big Ten football and basketball. After every week of action, we will get you caught up on all the conference’s games and look ahead at the matchups, storylines, and players that you should be paying attention to in the next week. My name is Jordan Williams, and I am joined by my co-host Dante Morgan.
It’s a double holiday! Happy Juneteenth and Happy Father’s Day! We hope you’re celebrating with the cookout to end all cookouts. The guys discuss the origin of Juneteenth, a holiday that the actual end of slavery. June 19th, 1865, two and a half years after the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation, the slaves in Galveston, Texas finally learned of their freedom marking the last known day of slavery in the United States. They also discuss good and bad gifts to receive on Father’s Day.
In this episode there is not much Big Ten news to talk about so the guys get some things off their chest. Dante doesn’t believe that Jordan should have to mow his own grass since he’s rent and they both have opinions on moving, moving cost, and what is an acceptable age to still be lifting things yourself. They also get into the NBA Finals; Steph Curry led the Warriors and captured his fourth ring and first finals MVP. What is Steph’s legacy, and where does Jayson Tatum rank after a bad final’s performance. Lastly it is not a Big Ten show without some Big Ten content so they discuss what week two games they’re most interested in.
In their weekly pit stop Jordan discusses the importance of men being able to change a tire, owning some tools, and how nice it is to save money by working on things yourself versus paying for it. Dante provides a word of inspiration reminding us that social media is not real life and not to use it to compare what you’ve accomplished. We all on our own our timeline and comparison are the thief of joy.

  • Buck Off Podcast: Huge Recruiting Weekend, Marcus Freeman back tracks, and a Game of What If?
On today’s episode of “Buck Off with Christopher Renne,” I am solo today and unfortunately not joined by Jordan Williams this week as he gets some well needed time with family because my power was out on Wednesday.
To start on this episode, we take the heat outside and take it to get into this hot recruiting weekend that brings a long list of top recruits to Columbus. I get into some recent conversations surrounding Brandon Inniss, Carnell Tate, and a few of the other recruits who will be on campus this weekend.
After that, I discuss some other recruiting stories that will drive the next few weeks and some of the experts have me feeling confident heading into the end of June. I also talk about Samson Okunlola’s visit and how the new coaches have their work cut out for themselves in the 2023 class.
Marcus Freeman was interviewed and made some questionable remarks about his lam mater. i discuss why it is a big deal and why it is not as big a deal that the comments were made out to be by the media (self-included). For impartiality reasons I get into some other coaches who have famously stepped in it during press conferences.
For the last part of the show, we get into the “What ifs” that can lead to Ohio State winning a national championship and a conversation about the worst aspect of Ohio State football in 2021.
I close out the show with my final thoughts on what this month of recruiting will mean for the Buckeyes.

  • Bucketheads: NBA Draft looms for Branham and Liddell, Carmen’s Crew is on hiatus (06/14/22)
Land-Grant Holy Land’s newest podcast, ‘Bucketheads’ takes you on a journey across the college basketball landscape every episode. The only basketball-focused podcast in the LGHL family of podcasts, co-hosts Connor Lemons and Justin Golba give the latest scoop on the Ohio State Buckeyes as well as all the other happenings in the college hoops world.
After a two-week break due to illness (a non-COVID pause, if you will), Connor and Justin are back to talk TBT, NBA and NCAA basketball. With the recent news that Carmen’s Crew will not be participating in this year’s TBT tournament, what does that mean for the future of the team? Could this actually be the end of the Carmen’s Crew dynasty?
They then get into the NBA Draft, including what all the most recent mock drafts are saying about Malaki Branham and E.J. Liddell — and also who the Cavaliers are taking in each draft. Most experts are expecting the Cavaliers to pass on Branham, but will they actually grab the two-time Mr. Basketball if he’s still on the board?
We close it with a game of “Transfer portal player or U.S. Congressman?” where Justin is forced to guess if the person Connor names is a player still in the transfer portal or a sitting member of Congress.

  • I-70 Football Show: Big Ten Win Totals
Welcome to a new episode of Land-Grant Holy Land’s I-70 podcast. On this show we talk all things Big Ten football and basketball. After every week of action, we will get you caught up on all the conference’s games and look ahead at the matchups, storylines, and players that you should be paying attention to in the next week. My name is Jordan Williams, and I am joined by my co-host Dante Morgan.
It's June 13th which means we are less than 100 days away from the start of the college football season. In this episode the guys pick over/under for each Big Ten team's 2022-win totals. Will Ohio State bounce back and win 11 or 12 games? Plus, the guys discuss why Vegas is higher in Nebraska (7.5) then Minnesota (6.5)? After receiving major contracts what will Penn State and Michigan State do this season? Lastly how early in the season will Scott Frost get fired?
Jordan and Dante also discuss why there is no movement with the Big Ten media deal. Fox is all but secured but who will the other television partners be? In their weekly pit stops Dante talks about Anthony Davis and his decision to admit he hasn't touched a basketball since early April. Jordan complains about the price of gas and how your car always knows when you're happy so it can break down.

Land-Grant Holy Land’s flagship podcast ‘Hangout in the Holy Land’ is back! Join LGHL’s co-managing editor Gene Ross alongside his co-host Josh Dooley as they cover everything from football to basketball to recruiting and more!
On this week’s episode, the guys are doing things a little bit differently. With Ohio State football smack dab in the middle of the offseason, Gene and Josh look to keep the content fresh. As the second half of a two-part series, the duo snake drafts their way through some of the best talent the Buckeyes have had to offer on defense from 2012-22 to put together their ultimate squad. In the end, it will be up to you guys to decide who drafted the better unit. We will be putting out a poll in Monday’s edition of “You’re Nuts,” and after Josh secured a runaway victory on offense, Gene will be looking to even it up with the defense.
