  • Instant Recap: Ohio State rolls Michigan State with an emphatic offensive performance (11/20/21)
Ohio State destroyed Michigan State in a 56-7 blowout that was never in doubt. The Buckeyes’ offense clicked on all cylinders with an almost near perfect game and the defense shut down Kenneth Walker III in their best game to date.
In this episode of the Land Grant Holy-Land’s instant recap podcast, Jordan and Chris have a conversation about the perfect offensive performance and what the game means for the Buckeyes moving forwards.
Then they discuss some surprising players on the defense that showed up and limited Kenneth Walker III. The DL was dominant and the guys discuss the importance of a dominant front-4 on defense.
We continue on discussing Chris Olave and the receivers, how they were once again the stars of the day. They also talk about Treveyon Henderson’s load management, is he injured or is this just precautionary to save him for the stretch run.
After the break Chris asks Jordan what this win means for the playoff rankings and if this is enough for Ohio State to jump Oregon. They also get into a discussion about C.J. Stroud’s Heisman campaign and how he has become the front-runner.
At the end of the show, we discuss Chris Olave’s legacy and his impact on the receiver room as well as celebrating the seniors.
Up next for the Buckeyes: Time to get back into the film room and prepare for a tough TTUN and the hate week that ensues.

  • Buck Off: Ohio State’s matchup against MSU, senior day, and the most valuable Buckeye offensive player
On today’s episode of “Buck Off with Christopher Renne,” I am joined, as always, by Jordan Williams to get you guys excited for Ohio State’s huge divisional matchup against the No. 7 ranked Michigan State Spartans in Columbus, Ohio.
We begin the show by giving you guys a run down of this exciting Michigan State team led by Kenneth Walker. The Mel Tucker effect has taken over and we talk about his immediate impact on the culture at MSU, his potential future job opportunities, and if he’s laid the blueprint for future coaches taking over power-five programs.
Then we get into Senior Night and give Chris Olave all the love he deserves, and also shoutout to all the seniors for living out your dream.
After opening as a 19.5-point favorite, DraftKings Sportsbook currently has the Buckeyes as a 19-point favorite with an over/under set at 68.5 points.
Moving forward, we get into an in depth conversation about the biggest stories of the week for Ohio State including the award semi-finalists and C.J. Stroud being the betting favorite to win the Heisman. This leads to a conversation about who the most valuable player to the offense is and how special a group the Buckeyes have.
We move into a quick CFP discussion because not much changed. This leads to our final discussion about the series between the Spartans and the Buckeyes, how these two teams match up, and why this game might not be as close as everyone outside of Vegas thinks it will be.
Lastly, we close out the show with an in-depth preview of what the Buckeyes will need to do to beat Michigan State and the keys to a successful game for Ohio State.

  • Purdue Rewind & Sparty Preview
Michael Citro and Chip Minnich break down Ohio State's 59-31 beatdown of the Purdue Boilermakers and check on their predictions and who graded out as champions. They also take a look at the other scores around the Big Ten and preview Saturday's game against Michigan State.

  • Hangout in the Holy Land: Recapping Purdue, previewing Sparty (11/17/21)
The hosts are new, but the sarcasm hasn’t changed a bit. Join Gene Ross and Josh Dooley all year long as they break down everything going on in Buckeye Nation on Land-Grant Holy Land's flagship podcast..
The guys didn’t get a chance to record a recap following the Purdue game, so with Josh out gallivanting overseas, Justin has graciously stepped up to join Gene in this episode to help break down the beatdown of the Boilermakers and also to preview this week’s Top 10 showdown against Michigan State. In terms of last game, the guys both loved what they saw from the offense and know that the defense is capable of playing much better, but also talk about why they think it struggled. When it comes to the Spartans, there isn’t much faith in the nation’s 130th-ranked passing defense to slow down CJ Stroud and his stable of future first-round wide receivers.

  • I-70 Football Show: A Big Ten East Showdown is Looming!
Welcome to a new episode of Land-Grant Holy Land’s I-70 podcast. On this show we talk all things Big Ten football and basketball. After every week of action, we will get you caught up on all the conference’s games and look ahead at the matchups, storylines, and players that you should be paying attention to in the next week. My name is Jordan Williams, and I am joined by my co-host Dante Morgan.
This Big Ten football season is the gift that keeps on giving which is fitting because it is officially holiday season. With two games left there are three teams in play for the Big Ten East champion and a few teams, namely Penn State looking to play spoiler. There are at least three but maybe four teams in play for the West division crown too. Two weeks with a trip to Indy on the line? Sign me up for that.
Dante and Jordan discuss Ohio State welcoming Michigan State to Columbus in what serves as a prelim game towards the eventual East Division champ. This is a winner take all scenario as the loser is out of the running and the winner sets up a one game showdown against either Michigan or Penn State. Can Michigan State defeat the death star or will OSU roll as expected? Wisconsin and Minnesota look to get victories to set up a winner takes the crown showdown for the West as well. There are eight teams eligible for bowl contention and two, Maryland and Rutgers, are 5-5 and looking to play upset against Michigan and Penn State respectively in hopes to reach the six win mark.
In their weekly pit stops Jordan discusses Ohio State's legendary trio of wide receivers and why even if you're not an OSU fan you should take the time to appreciate these players. Dante talks about college basketball and the pinnacle of sports viewing when almost every sport is on tv at the same time.

  • Instant Recap: Ohio State rolls Purdue with an emphatic offensive performance
In this episode of the Land Grant Holy-Land’s instant recap podcast, Jordan and Chris have their most positive recap yet, and it starts with Ohio State’s first win of the day in the recruitment of Sonny Styles
Then they discuss what went right for the offense including big days from all three receivers and the two running backs. They go into how the offense got back on track and how they were able to attack Purdue’s tough front seven to put out an explosive scoring output.
We continue on discussing the minor defensive struggles and how Purdue’s offense was just executing well. Ohio State avoided big plays for the most part and we discuss what the defense will need to do as we move into the home stretch.
At the end of the show we get into some of our favorite moments and our biggest takeaways from the games including Ryan Day getting in his bag as a play-caller, two thousand yard players, and Jerron Cage just making plays.
Up next for the Buckeyes: Time to get back into the film room and prepare for a tough Michigan State led by Kenneth Walker.

  • Buck Off Podcast: The history of the Spoilermakers, CFP reaction, and the legend of Noah Ruggles
On today’s episode of “Buck Off with Christopher Renne,” I am joined, as always, by Jordan Williams to get you guys excited for Ohio State’s cross division matchup against Purdue where the Buckeyes will be looking to avoid the same fate as Iowa and MSU.
We begin the show by discussing some of the biggest stories from the week starting with a conversation about the run game and why Ohio State’s offense isn’t bad. Next we get into why Purdue has been able to be a dangerous team when the Boilermakers are punching above their weight. We also get into a lengthy discussion on why everyone in CFB is actually bad.
Moving forward, we get into an in depth conversation on the CFP rankings as we react live to the release of them, and we talk about some of the bigger decisions the committee made. Purdue being ranked is actually a good thing for the Buckeyes because they always blow it when they’re ranked.
We get into the history of the Spoilermakers and surprisingly enough this did not give us the immense confident we thought it would when we looked into the history. We breakdown the matchups Purdue has played in after upsetting top-five opponents.
Lastly, we close out the show with an in depth preview in what the Buckeyes will need to do to beat Purdue and the keys to a successful game for Ohio State.
