  • Play Like a Girl: Post-Michigan therapy session (12/03/21)
On LGHL’s Play Like a Girl podcast, Megan and Meredith talk everything from Ohio State sports to advocacy for women in sports and all the happenings in between.
Welcome back! After a brief Thanksgiving hiatus, Megan and Meredith are back. And because they had to, they talked through Ohio State’s loss to Michigan Saturday. However, not everything was all bad, because this weekend turned out to be absolutely bananas — from a bizarre Iron Bowl finish to an unexpected Big Ten West result to a sound sendoff for Ed Orgeron at LSU.
The beauty of this time of year, too, is that there’s more than just football on, so Meredith and Megan head to the hardcourt to talk the Buckeyes’ huge matchup with No. 1 Duke in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

  • Buck Off: Recruiting Experts, coaching staff, and one of the wildest coaching carousel rides ever
On today’s episode of “Buck Off with Christopher Renne,” I am joined, as always, by Jordan Williams to give you the most accurate, informative, and definitely not at all hyperbolic Ohio State podcast discussing the past game and the crazy news happening in college football.
We begin the show by talking about the past weekend’s game against Michigan, but before we were able to talk about that some huge recruiting news happened. We discuss the commitment of Devin Brown. Then we give our final thoughts on the Michigan matchup.
Moving forward, we get into about what the Ohio State staff needs to do, what you can expect going into next year, and when you can expect coach movement. We discuss which coaches we think should stay and go as well as a couple of targets that can be on the market.
After that we discuss the two biggest moves in the coaching carousel in Lincoln Riley to USC and Brian Kelly to LSU. We discuss what those jobs mean and how these moves affected the landscape in college football from an administrative and football standpoint. Also we shout out a long time thorn in the side of Brutus for his new job.
Lastly, we close out the show with a final discussion on what we want to see in the offseason from Ohio State.

  • Bucketheads Podcast: Down Goes Duke! Recapping Ohio State's Massive Upset (12/02/21)
Land-Grant Holy Land’s newest podcast, ‘Bucketheads’ takes you on a journey across the college basketball landscape every episode. The only basketball-focused podcast in the LGHL family of podcasts, co-hosts Connor Lemons and Justin Golba give the latest scoop on the Ohio State Buckeyes as well as all the other happenings in the college hoops world. ‘Bucketheads’ will be released every Thursday morning throughout the regular season.
Ladies and gentlemen, they did it. Against all odds (and the thing they call the free throw line) the Buckeyes rallied from a 13-point deficit to defeat the Blue Devils, 71-66, on the backs of Zed Key, E.J. Liddell and surprisingly, Cedric Russell.
Connor and Justin break down the game in length, and then look ahead to preview their upcoming conference matchup with Penn State. Also, the Bucketheads give an injury update and talk about St. Johns of course, who might be the worst 5-1 team in the country.

  • LGHL Uncut: Coach K, Holtmann, Key, Russell talk Ohio State’s huge upset over No. 1 Duke (12/01/21)
Throughout the season, Land-Grant Holy Land will be bringing you uncut audio primarily from Ohio State press conference, but also from individual interview sessions.
In addition to this week’s Bucketheads episode coming out on Thursday, we also have the full post-game press conference following Ohio State’s 71-66 upset victory over the No. Duke Blue Devils.
Historically a slow-moving team, Ohio State tried to control the pace early on, and the scoring in the first half reflected that. At the under-8 timeout, Duke led 27-19, with seven different Blue Devils already in the scoring column. The Buckeyes were doing a fairly good job at limiting Banchero early on, but Duke’s supporting cast around him is probably the most talented in the nation.
Duke held a 43-30 lead at halftime following a 7-0 run right before halftime. Banchero got it going after a slow start, racking up 10 first-half points. Key led Ohio State with nine points in the opening frame, but the true story of the first 20 minutes were the turnovers — Ohio State had nine of them in the first half alone. The Buckeyes were also whiffing at the free throw line, going 3-for-10 in the first half.
Duke tried to open it up in the second half, but Ohio State just would not let them. After building a 15-point lead early in the second stanza, the Buckeyes scratched and clawed back into it, taking the lead with 1:03 remaining in the game. Cedric Russell had his coming out party, scoring 12 points. After Liddell’s jumper with 15 seconds remaining gave them a three-point lead, the comeback was complete.
Ohio State slayed the giant, David finished off Goliath, and the Buckeyes beat the No. 1 team in the country in their second straight attempt. The Buckeyes were led by Key’s career-high 20 points, but Liddell and Russell both chipped in double digits as well. Duke was led by Moore’s 17 points and 8 rebounds.

  • Michigan Rewind & Regular Season Wrap-Up
Michael Citro and Chip Minnich look at the myriad things that went wrong in Ohio State's 42-27 loss at Michigan on Saturday, dive into other news out of Ohio State, take a look at the other results in the Big Ten from the weekend, and look back at their preseason predictions.

  • I-70 Football Show: Michigan vs. Iowa, the Big Ten Championship we all predicted
Welcome to a new episode of Land-Grant Holy Land’s I-70 podcast. On this show we talk all things Big Ten football and basketball. After every week of action, we will get you caught up on all the conference’s games and look ahead at the matchups, storylines, and players that you should be paying attention to in the next week. My name is Jordan Williams, and I am joined by my co-host Dante Morgan.
In this week's episode Dante and Jordan, who are proud Kent State Alum, discuss Kent State winning their first MAC division title since 1972. After a slight detour they get into the upset of the weekend with Michigan dominating Ohio State in literally every facet of The Game. Michigan, led by five Hassan Haskin touchdowns, three sacks and 15 pressures from Aidan Hutchinson, finally gets to taste victory against their rivals down south.
After a dominating performance the boys get into what changes OSU needs to make. How far can Michigan go, and can they win the national championship? Plus is Jim Harbaugh a changed man or is this a one-year deal? With the regular season over its time to start looking back at our predictions and we were very wrong. Indiana finishes the season with zero wins in the Big Ten. Purdue significantly outplays our expectations and Maryland becomes bowl eligible.
In their weekly pit stop Dante talks about his Lakers and their struggles this season. Jordan talks about Lincoln Riley leaving Oklahoma for USC. Why did he leave and what can we expect from him at USC in the future?

  • Hangout in the Holy Land: The Streak has Ended. Recapping the Beatdown in The Game. (11/28/21)
Land-Grant Holy Land’s flagship podcast ‘Hangout in the Holy Land’ is back for a brand new season with brand new co-hosts! We will be now be coming at you twice a week to preview and recap each Ohio State game as well as any and all Buckeye news. Join LGHL’s co-managing editor Gene Ross alongside his co-host Josh Dooley as they cover everything from football to basketball to recruiting and more!
Well, it has finally happened. After a decade of Ohio State dominance, the Wolverines have emerged victorious in The Game for the first time under Jim Harbaugh. It wasn’t the result of a bad call or a fluky outcome; Michigan was the better team on Saturday, dominating the Buckeyes in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Gene and Josh sort through to wreckage to figure out just what went wrong, both from a player and a coaching standpoint. They also discuss an important offseason for Ryan Day, as he must rebuild his entire defensive coaching staff from scratch with that unit costing his team a chance at a national title two years in a row.
