In this episode of the Land Grant Holy-Land’s instant recap podcast, Jordan and Chris have a conversation about the questionable offensive game plan and the defensive failures that finally caught up to the Buckeyes.

After the break, Chris and Jordan get into why the Buckeyes are built for some success moving forward. This game is tough to stomach for a lot of people, but this team has a lot of positives moving forward. We also discuss the potential of some tough decisions Ryan Day will have to make going into next year.

Land-Grant Holy Land’s newest podcast, ‘Bucketheads’ takes you on a journey across the college basketball landscape every episode. The only basketball-focused podcast in the LGHL family of podcasts, co-hosts Connor Lemons and Justin Golba give the latest scoop on the Ohio State Buckeyes as well as all the other happenings in the college hoops world. ‘Bucketheads’ will be released every Thursday morning throughout the regular season.

After a busy week of hoops, our local basketball specialists Connor and Justin do their best to run down the Xavier loss and Seton Hall win, while also previewing the Buckeyes’ historic matchup with Duke that looms on the 30th. They also give a brief preview of Florida, but due to the odd timing of this episode, the Florida game will have been finished by the time this is released. It happens.

After that, the guys give a quick St. John’s update following the Johnnies narrow victory over KenPom’s No. 328 team and also discuss their Thanksgiving plans.

On today's episode, we hear the postgame press conference from Chris Holtmann following the buzzer-beating loss for the Ohio State men's basketball team at the hands of the No. 23 Florida Gators in the championship game of the Fort Myers Tipoff. Despite having a 10-point lead in the second half, UF won on a last-second three 71-68.

Following the game, Holtmann discussed Florida's physicality, his backcourt rotation, and other lessons learned from the game.

Land-Grant Holy Land’s flagship podcast ‘Hangout in the Holy Land’ is back. Join LGHL’s co-managing editor Gene Ross alongside his co-host Josh Dooley as they cover everything from football to basketball to recruiting and more!

It is rivalry week, and this year’s edition of The Game has a ton on the line. Ohio State and Michigan come into this matchup both sitting at 10-1, and the winner will get to play in Indianapolis for a Big Ten title. Gene and Josh are back for their usual preview, but first they touch on the Buckeyes’ receivers being slighted for the Biletnikoff and James Franklin’s extension at Penn State.

They then go in-depth on the matchup, including what both teams have to do on both sides of the ball to emerge victorious. They finish things up with a spirited discussion about Nebraska football and Thanksgiving leftovers.

Liddell, Meechie Johnson Jr., and Chris Holtmann following Ohio State's last-second 79-76 victory over No. 21 Seton Hall in the first round of the Fort Myers Tip Off. Liddell led the Buckeyes in points with 28 while Johnson hit a dagger three-pointer with just over two seconds remaining on the clock.

Ohio State will next play Florida in the mini-tournament's championship game on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. ET on FS1.

It appears Ohio State may be good at this whole football thing, folks. The Buckeyes played their most complete game of the season on Saturday as they thoroughly beat up on No. 7 Michigan State 56-7. Mel Tucker’s squad had no chance of slowing down Ryan Day’s trio of future NFL receivers as CJ Stroud carved up the Spartans to the tune of 432 yards and six touchdowns. Gene and Josh are back again to recap an overly impressive performance, plus a quick overview of the College Football Playoff race and how the rest of the year could play out on a national scale.
