Ohio State opened up as 20-point favorites against Purdue, according to the DraftKings Sportsbook, which seems pretty high given the Buckeyes’ struggles against Nebraska and the Boilermakers’ upset against Michigan State. Ohio State fans are well aware of what can happen when you don’t take Jeff Brohm’s team seriously, and their win over the Spartans has only accentuated what this squad is capable of when playing the role of spoiler.

Gene and Josh break down what went wrong the last time these two teams met, and discuss why this year’s game will be different. The guys certainly don’t think this will be a walk in the park for the Buckeyes, but Ohio State can win comfortably if they execute and fix some of their silly mistakes from the past couple games.

Land-Grant Holy Land’s newest podcast, ‘Bucketheads’ takes you on a journey across the college basketball landscape every episode. The only basketball-focused podcast in the LGHL family of podcasts, co-hosts Connor Lemons and Justin Golba give the latest scoop on the Ohio State Buckeyes as well as all the other happenings in the college hoops world. ‘Bucketheads’ will be released every Thursday morning throughout the regular season.

In addition to this week’s Bucketheads episode, we also have the full post-game press conference following Ohio State’s nail-biting 67-66 victory over Akron on Tuesday night. On LGHL’s Play Like a Girl podcast, Megan and Meredith talk everything from Ohio State sports to advocacy for women in sports and all the happenings in between. .

Welcome back! Meredith didn’t get to watch Ohio State’s nailbiter against Nebraska, so Megan caught her up on a less-than-stellar rushing performance from TreVeyon Henderson, questionable comments from CJ Stroud and fireworks from kicker (yes, the kicker) Noah Ruggles. 

But wait there’s more! Because college hoops started tonight and (though the pair didn’t know it at the time), the Buckeyes notched their first win of the season over Akron. Of course, Ohio State has a premiere matchup against the Duke Blue Devils coming up at the end of the month as part of Coach K’s farewell tour. 

Speaking of coaching stability (or lack thereof), Meredith and Megan get into the mid-season firings of an unprecedented nine coaches...and marvel at one of them was not, in fact, Nebraska’s Scott Frost.

After every week of action, we will get you caught up on all the conference’s games and look ahead at the matchups, storylines, and players that you should be paying attention to in the next week. My name is Jordan Williams, and I am joined by my co-host Dante Morgan.

In this episode Dante and Jordan discuss Purdue beating Michigan State in dominating fashion. At 6-3, the Boilermakers are in a four-way tie atop the Big Ten West. Can they continue this special season and upset a top 5 ranked Ohio State? Wisconsin takes care of business against Rutgers while Minnesota loses to Illinois, setting up some very important games down the stretch.

In a preview of next week’s games, the boys get into Michigan vs. Penn State as TTUN looks to keep their Big Ten title hopes alive while Penn State looks to avoid a fourth loss. Can Minnesota break the four-way tie with a win over Iowa or will Iowa get back to form? Ohio State looks to get their offense back on track against the upset minded Boilermakers.

In their weekly pit stops Dante talks about the Lakers and their acquisition of Russell Westbrook. Will the Lakers end up regretting their free agent moves? Jordan puts the spotlight on Big Ten playmakers. Often overlooked some of the best offensive playmakers in the league are from the Big Ten. Their looks to be a few this season hoping to join them in the NFL soon.

Nebraska has kept every game close this season, and that was no different on Saturday afternoon when they matched up against Ohio State in a 26-17 win for the Buckeyes. While the Cornhuskers certainly did some good things on both sides of the ball, it would be tough to argue that many of Ohio State’s shortcomings were of its own doing — whether that be play-calling, procedural penalties or some inexcusable missed tackles. Gene and Josh break down the good, the bad and the ugly from the Buckeyes’ latest road win following a full day of college football where many of the nation’s top teams didn’t exactly impress.

In this episode of the Land Grant Holy-Land’s instant recap podcast Jordan and Chris discuss Ryan Day’s worst game as the head coach at Ohio State and why his play calling needs to improve. There were very few positives but Ohio State survived and won a hard fought game.

We continue on discussing the offensive struggled and try to get to the bottom of the mystery of why they can’t score in the red zone. We also get into why the defense gave up some big plays, how they can improve, and the epic pass rush that has showed up the past few weeks.

On today’s episode of “Buck Off with Christopher Renne,” I am joined, as always, by Jordan Williams to get you guys excited for Ohio State’s road trip to Lincoln, Neb to take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

After the big weekend Jordan and I spent some time talking about the impact a game like the Penn State game has on recruits. We get into some of the big names that were in attendance and discuss where the Buckeyes stand with some huge targets.

Lastly, we close out the show with an in depth preview in why the Buckeyes will dominate Nebraska and the keys to a successful road game for Ohio State.

After a bit of a clunker against Penn State, Ohio State will look to improve in a few areas as they hit the road to take on Nebraska this Saturday. Despite sitting at 3-6 on the year, the Cornhuskers have kept every game close and have a bunch of talent on both sides of the ball. Gene and George break down what you should expect in Lincoln this weekend, and dive into what Scott Frost’s guys bring to the table on both sides of the ball.
