  • I-70 Football Show: Illinois upsets Penn State and the path to the Big Ten Championship begins or ends this weekend
Welcome to a new episode of Land-Grant Holy Land’s I-70 podcast. On this show we talk all things Big Ten football and basketball. After every week of action, we will get you caught up on all the conference’s games and look ahead at the matchups, storylines, and players that you should be paying attention to in the next week. My name is Jordan Williams, and I am joined by my co-host Dante Morgan.
The Big Ten decided to take the new overtime rules for a spin with a nine overtime thriller. Illinois ran all over Penn State to the tune of 357 yards yet couldn't land in the end zone. After trading field goals in the first two overtime periods the teams went ten straight attempts without a conversion before Illinois completed the upset in the ninth overtime period.
Ohio State turned their offense up a notch and beat Indiana 54-7. Michigan ran all over Northwestern bringing Jordan's dream match up of undefeated teams as Michigan and Michigan State enter next weeks contest at 7-0. That's not the only major game as Ohio State vs. Penn State, Iowa vs. Wisconsin and Minnesota vs. Northwestern are all key games that will determine who represents their division in Indianapolis for the Big Ten championship game. With bids to the championship game and subsequently a playoff berth on the line for multiple teams this may be the biggest weekend in recent Big Ten History.
In their weekly pit stops Dante doubles down on bad referees and their lack of oversight. A ref was able to take a touchdown off the board in the Iowa State vs. Oklahoma State game due to a phantom taunting penalty. Jordan discusses RG3 and his cringe worthy broadcasting and why it's important to just be yourself, especially when you're a multi-million dollar ex-NFL quarterback.

  • Hangout in the Holy Land: Breaking Down Ohio State's 54-7 Win Over Indiana (10/24/21)
The hosts are new, but the sarcasm hasn’t changed a bit. Join Gene Ross and Josh Dooley all year long as they break down everything going on in Buckeye Nation on Land-Grant Holy Land's flagship podcast.
Gene is off at a New York Giants game (for some reason), so Josh welcomes in long-time LGHL stalwart Meredith Hein to break down Ohio State's 54-7 rainy victory in Bloomington over the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday night. They talk about how dominant the Buckeye defense looked against a beaten up IU offense and whether or not you can take much away from the defensive effort given the sub-par level of opponent.
On offense, they talk about the growth and development of C.J. Stroud, his Heisman chances, and all of the ridiculous weapons that Ohio State has on that side of the ball. They also get into the hilarious Penn State and Illinois 9 OT game on Saturday and what it means for next week's night game.

  • Instant Recap Podcast: OSU runs Indiana off the field in a classic revenge game
Ohio State improves to 6-1 with a 54-7 blowout win against the Indiana Hoosiers
In an Kent State Alum edition of the LGHL Instant Recap podcast, Jordan Williams and Justin Golba break down this massive Buckeye win.
Almost once a year it seems a team gets under Ryan Day’s skin and the next year he takes it out on them. Think Maryland last year after it was rumored they dimed out Chase Young or Michigan when they promoted the “revenge tour”. Well Indiana tried to keep Ohio State out of the Big Ten championship game last year and Day and his Buckeyes got their revenge tonight.
Behind an all time first half where Ohio State led 44-7 bolstered by three touchdowns by TreVeyon Henderson, two rushing and one receiving, and a near perfect C.J. Stroud, the Buckeyes rolled to a huge win against the Hoosiers. The much improved defense racked up five sacks and fourteen tackles for a loss.
Olave scored another touchdown and tied Devin Smith record for touchdown receptions in a career and is four touchdowns away from the all time record. The Buckeyes continue to round into form and should be a scary team for anyone in the Big Ten -and maybe Georgia- That’s a conversation for later as the Buckeyes take the countries best offense and a hungry defense into a -not as big a we thought?- showdown against Penn State in the Shoe next Saturday!

  • Buck Off: Indiana week, remaining schedule, and offensive line recruiting
On today’s episode of “Buck Off with Christopher Renne,” I am joined, as always, by Jordan Williams to discuss this weeks recruiting wins and the Indiana game.
We start the show discussing some of the biggest stories throughout the week from the Buckeyes this week. The Buckeyes had two big commitments and we discuss offensive line recruiting. Then we get into some key players getting healthy and what they can provide in the second half of the season.
Moving forward, I ask Jordan if he would take Ohio State or the field when it comes to the winning the Big Ten Championship. We discuss who the biggest challengers are for the Buckeyes on their remaining schedule and if we see them stumbling against anyone.
To continue on, we discuss the Indiana game in detail and what to expect from the Hoosiers. We look back at their schedule to put into perspective why Indiana might be the best 2-4 team in the country. We get into how they looked against MSU with Jack Tuttle at quarterback and what challenges they will present to the Buckeyes.
Lastly, we close out the show with our keys to a successful road win for Ohio State, and our keys to success for the Buckeyes as they take on the Hoosiers in a night game.

  • I-70 Football Show: Iowa Falls, Purdue is a pleasant surprise and Nebraska Disappoints
Jordan tried to warn everyone that unless Iowa figured out their offense they would end up losing. No one expected that loss to come to Purdue but thats exactly what happened. Purdue dominated No. 2 Iowa leading to their first loss and Purdue being ranked for the first time since 2007. Despite some close games against top teams Nebraska couldn't win the game they needed to for bowl eligibility to stay a realistic option leading the guys to discuss if it's finally time to fire Scott Frost.
Michigan State survives a tough Indiana team and Jordan's dream is still alive. We are one Michigan win from an undefeated match up between top ten ranked Michigan and Michigan State. Despite, or because of, their success is this the last year for Mel Tucker at Michigan State? With LSU firing Coach Orgeron, Tucker could be a candidate for one of the best jobs in all of college football.
It's another limited slate with only five games due to bye weeks but Dante and Jordan preview a few of next weeks games. Can Michigan stay undefeated? Will Purdue keep winning and defeat a stumbling Wisconsin team? and can Indiana out a scare into Ohio State? In their weekly pitstop Jordan discusses his disdain for the Big Ten's lack of effort in trying to recruit, develop and maintain good Quarterbacks. Dante talks about referees in college and the NFL. Why is no one holding them accountable and what changes need to be made to make the sport more enjoyable.
