  • Hangout in the Holy Land: Recapping Saturday's 35-28 Loss to Oregon (09/12/21)
The hosts are new, but the sarcasm hasn’t changed a bit. Join Gene Ross and Josh Dooley all year long as they break down everything going on in Buckeye Nation on Land-Grant Holy Land's flagship podcast.
Welp, that didn’t go quite as planned. Ohio State fell 35-28 to the Ducks on Saturday afternoon, and shortly thereafter Gene and Josh got together to fire off some #takes. The sentiment is the same across all of Buckeye Nation — the defense simply wasn’t good enough, and the coaching staff on that side of the ball is largely to blame. Some are down on CJ Stroud, but the Holy Land boys aren’t ready to give up on him just yet. There is a lot to talk about and break down after this one, so give the recap pod a listen if you can stomach the aftermath of Ryan Day’s first regular season loss at Ohio State.

  • Instant Recap Podcast: Ohio State falls as defense disappoints against Oregon
The Ohio State Buckeyes were defeated by the Oregon Ducks 35-28 in a game where Ohio State never found itself on either side of the ball.
Jordan Williams and Christopher Renne provide an instant recap show to break down the reasons why Ohio State could not figure out the Ducks offense in the red zone and why the offense could not put it all together.
They get into a discussion on how the coaching staff failed to make meaningful adjustments and allowed for Oregon to dictate the terms of the game. Then they continue with the poor showing in energy and effort from the players in this marquee out of conference match up.
The next game for Ohio State will be September 18th against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane.
Ohio State will look to rebound against an 0-2 Tulsa team at home.

  • Hangout in the Holy Land: Previewing Saturday's Oregon Game (09/08/21)
The hosts are new, but the sarcasm hasn’t changed a bit. Join Gene Ross and Josh Dooley all year long as they break down everything going on in Buckeye Nation on Land-Grant Holy Land's flagship podcast.
Maybe Ohio State fans shouldn’t be all so worried about their own team compared to some of the performances we saw from other top teams around the country this past weekend. However, the Buckeyes will now face their toughest test of the non-conference schedule as they host Oregon on Saturday. Gene and Josh are back for another game preview, talking first about some of the craziness they saw the past few days before breaking down the Ducks. The guys were pretty close on their score predictions a week ago, so we’ll see if they can keep that game feel going through Week 2.

  • I-70 Football Show: Iowa and OSU are the class of the B1G
Welcome to a new episode of Land-Grant Holy Land’s I-70 podcast. On this show we talk all things Big Ten football and basketball. After every week of action, we will get you caught up on all the conference’s games and look ahead at the matchups, storylines, and players that you should be paying attention to in the next week. My name is Jordan Williams, and I am joined by my co-host Dante Morgan.
Week 1 in the B1G is over. OSU outlast Minnesota and showcases their insane ability to hit big plays. Led by their defense Iowa dominates Indiana and makes their case to be the best team in the B1G. Dante and Jordan go back and forth trying to determine are Wisconsin and Penn States defenses that good or are the respective offenses just that bad.
In a surprise showing Rutgers and Maryland put up 61 & 52 respectively in wins, Michigan State bullies Northwestern and Illinois is the only team to lose a non-conference game with their loss to UTSA. The B1G provided us an amazing slate of games and we couldn't wait to discuss them.
As we look forward to next week the B1G has some BIG non-conference games and a bunch of pay games. Ohio State welcomes future #1 pick Kayvon Thibodeaux and his Oregon team into the Shoe. Michigan looks to change the narrative with a dominant win over Washington and Iowa hopes to continue their win streak against in state rival Iowa state.
In their weekly pit stops Jordan discusses Clemson's loss to Georgia and why they have been overrated for the past 2 or 3 years. Dante celebrates the fact that Alabama is unreal and looks like the favorites to win another national championship
