Simon Wright

AC/DC was a worldwide juggernaut when Simon Wright joined the band in

1983 at the young age of 20. After drumming on three AC/DC albums and

playing in front of massive audiences around the world, he left to join

Dio and, later, Rhino Bucket, UFO, Pat Travers and Operation Mindcrime,

among others. We caught up with him to discuss his star-studded career

and quickly learned to appreciate his humility and humor.
