Simplexity with Alyson Stoner

Alysia Montaño aka “The Pregnant Olympic Runner” is a 7x USA Champ, 3x Bronze Medalist & 2x American Record holder. She recounts her nail-biting world championship race and surprising lessons learned, competing with dopers, facing isolation and failure, and leaving Nike after publicly exposing The U.S. Olympic Committee and major athletic sponsors for having contracts that unequally strip women of paychecks and health insurance, labeling pregnancy an “injury”, and do not include maternity leave. Listen to a fierce discussion on finding your true path, how to stay motivated, and how to utilize her champion mindset whether you're starting a dream, starting a family or starting over.

Quote from Sapiens that Alyson paraphrased:

“Culture tends to argue that it forbids only that which is unnatural. But from a biological perspective, nothing is unnatural. Whatever is possible is by definition also natural. A truly unnatural behaviour, one that goes against the laws of nature, simply cannot exist, so it would need no prohibition.” -Yuval Noah Harari
