When I first set out to create my own podcast, I had a few goals in mind: 1) expand my personal knowledge of the planet and people to be a better conduit of service, 2) curate and amplify incredible leaders and experts who are on-the-ground making a difference
across sectors, and 3) help our community evolve and transform into our highest selves. Season One definitely surpassed my expectations. Did it hit any of those hopes for you? If so, take to the comments section and let me know what you thought! I’m going to
take a little break to breathe, reflect, and consider what the next chapter will be. I welcome your thoughts and suggestions! Just remember... It’s anything but small talk. See you soon!

Politics and government can be very complex and confusing. Maria Yuan is the founder and CEO of Issue Voter, a free nonpartisan public service that explains issues and bills in layman's terms, connects you directly to your representative in congress, and alerts you when bills are being voted on that you care about so you can make your voice heard. We examine how small, one-time actions can invoke real legislative change, why petitions don’t necessarily work on federal issues, mindfulness in politics, entrepreneurship, and more!

Author Damien Echols, one of the West Memphis Three, is a man most famous for his darkest days. After being wrongly convicted as a teenager of murdering three boys, he spent 18 years on Death Row, including 10 in solitary confinement. Amidst unfathomable strife, loss, and fear, Damien discovered ceremonial Magick with a "k" (spoiler: it's not sleight of hand or evil spells) and this punctilious practice saved his life. We explore and compare Magick's ancient history with modern eastern and western traditions, controversial symbolism, concepts of reality, and practices we can use to access new states of being. Let's lift the veil on the often misunderstood ideologies of Magick... with a "k", that is.

This week, we are pressing pause to reflect and learn how three of Simplexity’s previous guests are taking strong, heart-centered approaches to educate, process, and activate people during this time. Gloria Atanmo, CEO and travel blogger, is crafting unifying resources with a compassionate “take what you need” approach. Sexologist Shan Boodram has been candid about her exploration of colorism as a mixed-race woman, along with sharing how sex, love, and relationships play into conversations of race and activism. Singer-songwriter India Carney is using her superpower of music and art to find gratitude, dignity, and determination in a period that could easily lead to hopelessness.
We revisit moments from earlier interviews to see how they tie in to today’s climate, and of course, it wouldn’t be complete without India’s breathtaking musical performance.
