Would you listen to A Matchless Romance again? Why?

This author needs to re record this series with Isabelle, AKA Gabra Zackman. The announcer says this is narrated by Gayle Hendricks ,but it is NOT, it is read by Isabelle. Maybe that's what the other 2 stories needed! This is a cute, quick, and funny dialogue romance. LOL stuff. Price is great.

What was one of the most memorable moments of A Matchless Romance?

When our hero explains his wedding outfit. Warms your heart. This short read tells you this author has great writing skills, but needs better readers to bring forth her talent.

This author has great potential, but had the wrong reader in her other works. I will have to check out her reviews, but I will not buy an author if the reader is bad.

What about Isabelle Gordons performance did you like?

Reader knows how to use her voice to make sexy men, just that. She knows how to pace and use her voice to bring all characters to life. Not to be missed.

I prefer both. I read while listening. But also it made it easier. I hope that the others will be on audio soon!

Sinfully Delicious!

OH MY PETIT POIS! Yup... that's about all the French you are going to get out of me...but this book is so full of such a beautiful language. Obviously a language I never grasped unless it is hot to call someone a "garden pea." Probably not, so I am going to stick with what I do love about this book and that is just about everything! This book is hot, and I mean hot, from the very beginning. The moment Taryn gets out of the cab in France, you can feel the steam rise!

Taryn is an aspiring chef from New York seeking culinary training at the prestigious International Institute of Culinary Arts in the beautiful city of Paris, France. She is ready to learn from the top chefs in the world and is very excited to take on the new challenges of a hard core culinary school. She had done her research and knew that one of her instructors would be the very talented and internationally know chef, Errol King.

What Taryn wasn't expecting was finding herself in a beautiful place stuck in a crappy apartment that there was not one redeeming quality for. But that stranger that she bumped into that first day changed the course of events for Taryn.

This book was a tasty treat for the culinary palate and both Errol and Taryn proved to be two completely hot messes. I loved the chemistry between the characters. He took control and she wanted to let go of control. It was the perfect mix, well, except that crispy gooey experiment...

A Thriller Romance -- Who would have thought?

In this third novel, Desrochers takes a unexpected turn and delivers a thriller romance. The progression of these three books in terms of plots are outstanding. Instead of delivering saccharine sweet one after another novel, the series grows. The story in engaging and offers a good amount of tension. She keeps you guessing about the outcome till the end.

I like that way she wound up little pieces of book one and book two in the last novel, like a little dash of nutmeg on the whipped cream of a steaming hot chocolate. Also, the transformation of the main character, Samantha (Sam), is well done. The supporting characters are excellent. I also liked the narration very much.

I give this novel a solid thumbs up and recommend the entire trilogy. I was undecided after the first novel, but the series goes in complexity. Give them a read.

I would not recommend this book to a friend. The narration is subpar. The voice of the narrator doesn't mesh with the characters.

No, I would not recommend this book to my friends. I honestly feel the narrators voice will either make or break a book. In this case, it broke it!! I still have 5 hours left and not sure I can honestly finish listening to the title.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Don't feel this was the right "voice" for the characters.

Awesome - I didn't see this book coming.... I hit me at full force and garbed my attention so hard i was spinning... It was thrilling, Hot and just Fabulous !!

Samantha is nothing like I thought she was. From the synopsis, we learn that she's been going in a downward spiral and ends up getting kicked out of school and her families house. She sounded like everything I disliked about her. But upon reading the first few chapters I learned that while she may have gone wild a little bit, she's actually a smart girl that's just a little lost. It's funny because in the first book I looked at Samantha as hitch in the grand scheme to have Trent and Lexie together but I never really thought about how she was affected by that. Trent wasn't just some random fling for her.

I was hoping that this would be similar to the Summer I Turned Pretty series. I had hopes, but they were quickly dashed. This is awful. From the female narrator, to the elementary writing style. Save your credit and just don't. I couldn't even finish it.

Due to subject matter, make note in description!

While the author handled the very real matter of incest between a stepfather and his daughters with sensitivity, the reader/listener is constantly reminded of what shaped this woman to the point you can't get away from it. A significant amount of time is devoted to this heavy issue overshadowing the tenderness of young love and the couple's budding second chance. There are enough suggestive and/or slightly graphic details of physical and emotional abuse to contemplate seeking professional help for damage to the reader's psyche.

Another thing that bothered me was the issue of forgiveness. Without delving into great detail, would you grant forgiveness to a family member for committing, covering up or ignoring such an act on not one but two of your children? Not I!

Had I known the subject matter, I NEVER would have made the purchase. I strongly urge Audible to revisit the book's description for an update. It sounds as though Delia was at fault for wrecking the family, when what she was, was an abused 16 year old who fled a hopeless situation.

Definitely a bit better than Blush...

Another enjoyable book about the lives of In Vito Veritas. I do have to start by saying that BDSM is generally hit or miss for me. As for this, I honestly enjoyed it. Its about a wealthy man named Elijah and a beautiful artist named Samantha. Samantha caught Elijah's eye after he saw a piece of art that she had displayed at one of his resorts. They seem to have instant chemistry and see something that draws them to each other. This story has a lot of twists and turns. Elijah dealing with lingering scars.Samantha is carrying around a lot of guilt and shame from a dark secret. This story has a lot to do with sexual discovery for the heroine, Samantha. Overall, it was definitely a hot book. Although, the book had some originality, I did notice some common similarities found in other books in this genre. Regardless, my attention was still absorbed from start to finish without really stopping. Fans of the BDSM genre will really enjoy this. And it will definitely appeal to lovers of contemporary romance who dont mind a little kink with their love story.

I can't believe this is the squeal to Blush

Blush was sooo goood... I just don't understand how this is the squeal to that...

Anyway... I like the story... simply b/c I recognized that the Dom was the friend of the Dom I liked so much from Blush... but, man this story was seriously lacking in romance, chemistry and smexness that Blush had...

I really liked Elijah from book 1, so his story should have been way better, even though we only met Elijah like 3 times before...but still.

I like the h in this story, but if just felt like Elijah had to work way way too hard get his girl... Then Samantha was supposed to be the more aggressive one in this book, but that just didn't come across to me.

This story was good and well worth a credit...but completely forget about Blush is you listen to this...but they are not on the same level, even though this is the 2 book in the series...

I'm not normally a fan of BDSM and steer away from these books however I was intrigued by the characters in this book. Could she really fully submit and if she didn't could he accept her independence? I enjoyed this book and the journey they took together.

An emotional roller-coaster ride!

What about Traci Odoms performance did you like?

I thought she did an outstanding job bring to life a very emotional read, even the sexual scenes where outstanding with how much emotion she brought to the story.

I thought this was a good read/listen, the author gives you a very emotional roller-coaster ride.I felt for the most part the characters needed to grow up and find what they truly wanted.

I thought the narrator did an outstanding job bring life to all the emotions the author gives us. You can feel the pain and the sexual emotions of each character. I felt she does this better than most narrators I have listened to. I was blow away by her sexual emotions she brought to this story.

You have 3 people in this relationship, Jack who knows what he wants but doesn't know what life style he wants to live. He doesn't think Sarah is ready for what he wants out of her. He really isn't sure what he wants from her, he does ask her to marry him but is he really ready for marriage or is it a way to own her. I really think he is just afraid to comment and goes about issues the wrong way to get himself out of it.

Sarah is playing two men Jack and Craig, she runs to Craig when she gets mad at Jack. She is playing one against the other and really doesn't know what she wants. I really do not care to much for any of these characters but out of them all I dislike Sarah the most with her on and off again relationship with both men. She really needs to grow up and get a life.

Craig is willing to wait for Sarah he knows in the end he will have her. I guess out of any of the characters I feel the sorriest for him. He is to dumb to know he is being used and in the end he will lose.

Just when you think Sarah and Jack will work it out there are to many doubts, old fears, and misunderstandings. She goes back to Craig.

Not a Delilah Devlin book

Would you try another book from Delilah Devlin and/or Chandra Skyye?

Yes, I like Delilah Devlin books she writes. She did not write these stories. She just got a group of unknown writers and put them in one listen. Chandra Skyye is just Ok, not my fave. It would depend on the story she reads if I would purchase.
