I didn't have a strong relationship with God until I hit about 34. I always believed in God and grew up in the church but (for me) because I didn't seek a true relationship with God. Because I didn't question the things I was told and not told, I began to rush and try to get into relationships. Which sadly set me up for failure. I was so naive and I thought that when a guy told me he loved me, he meant it.
Relationships don't have a "user manual" or do they?
Why did I stay? Why did I allow a man to treat me this way and what did I learn from it? Let's talk...

Singleness is not a punishment. It's not a season to endure, it's a life and a life worth living. You just have to design it!

👉🏽 Hey Reka, I have a question or thought that’s been on my mind, I find myself asking often, what’s worth it? So in relationships now days we have a list of red flags, which is a good tool, I feel like these times we are quick to tell people to leave relationships, to see the red flags and walk away.
Which I understand completely but we also see a lot of comments about “people don’t stay and work it out anymore” ...so where’s the line between making a relationship last for years and working thru differences and humanly character “flaws” mistakes etc.
What's the difference in ...see a red flag and don’t waste your time, you deserve better mentality or work thru it. How do you know what to walk away from and what to use as growth in your relationship. When do you stay ---instead of walking away? I feel like the advice to “leave” is so quick these days, I’d love to hear your thoughts on it.

I intend to help you see that you have authority over your life.
No one gives us a manual when we are born. No one gives us a book of instructions for our birthday. Which is weird because don't you have an instruction manual for your TV, your car, and everything else that you do not know how to use at first.
We're born, for the first time and we're just expected to be great at being human. We're given a name and expected to know how to operate as such.
How are we supposed to know how to operate?
How are we supposed to know how our mind works?
How are we supposed to know how our body works?
We do learn from others but the problem is most of us are learning from others that never took the time to learn themselves. For the most part they probably never knew you could learn "yourself", so, it's not their fault.
Psychology 101 should be taught to us. We should have mandatory 'learn-how-to-be-a-human' classes starting at age 2.
Like drivers-ed but human-ed. I'm not an expert at anything but I did start getting curious about life… my life. Which lead me to ask questions like:
Why do we do the things we do?
Why do we NOT do the things we want to do?
That researching is paying off for me and I thought: what if I could help other women create their manual for their life?
