Welcome to another episode!

This week we are discussing a movie while we drink some drinks we like. Brittany is drinking a gin & tonic, while Skylar is enjoying a bottle of peach moscato. The movie we are discussing is the 2010 Neo-noir psychological thriller film, Shutter Island. Directed by Martin Scorsese, written by Laeta Kalogridis, and based on Dennis Lehane's 2003 novel of the same name.

This movie stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley, Michelle Williams, Emily Mortimer, and more. It's full of fun, and some dark, twists and turns. So whether you're a fan of the movie, like hearing about movies before watching them, or some other type of movie fan..we hope you enjoy us discussing this movie in a casual and loose manner!

 **Spoiler warning, if you have not seen this movie and would like it to not be ruined for you**  We did greatly enjoy it, and do definitely recommend it if it seems like your type of film.

Welcome to another episode! 

We are back in the kitchen once again this week! This time Brittany got to choose what was on the menu. So this is a vegetarian themed dinner, and we both got to drink something we like. Skylar chose some Peach themed light & fruity drinks, and Brittany was on a Mango-Habanero kick. This week's episode is a little shorter than our normal ones, but we still hope you listen and probably laugh at our bad cooking skills. We have a bucket of questions and challenges this time, so this is really just like a "get to know us while we cook" type of thing. 

**This was recorded while we were actually cooking this meal, so there are many sounds you might here in a kitchen setting. Therefore, there may be some jarring bangs, clangs, and hisses. If you are sensitive to sudden sounds, please keep this in mind.

Welcome to another episode!

This week the theme is Current Events! And boy, what a whirlwind of "current events" it has been these last few weeks. So grab some red wine (you're gonna need it) and come listen as we talk about some unpleasant, but so so so very important things that have been happening recently. (We filmed this much earlier in the day than we usually do, so the animals in the house were overly active. Sorry for the rouge Barks and Meows!)

Brittany tries to the best of her ability to talk about the Atlanta Spa shootings, and the recent incline of Anti-Asian hate crimes. She is by no means an expert on the subject, but tries her best, and this is a topic that should have attention brought to it. There will be many links below for resources for you to learn more, how and where you can help, etc. At the end she also touches on the recent kidnapping and murder of Sarah Everard that happened in London. Trigger warnings: racism, hate crimes, murder, gun violence, white privilege, cops abusing power, etc.

Skylar was going to lighten the mood with some dumb YouTube drama since Brittany's segment was very heavy and dark, but then Skylar found herself down a dark rabbit hole that was a surprise to her. She is going to talk about the recent news revolving around David Dobrik and the Vlog Squad. This segment deals with a lot of heavy issues as well, such as: rape, abuse, idolizing influencers, etc.

Welcome to another episode! 

This week the theme is History! We, unfortunately, had to have a "drink we don't like" and in honor of St Patrick's Day, we went with the holiday classic: green beer! So gather around kids and take some notes because we are going to teach you about some history you most likely won't hear about in school.

Brittany tells the unpleasant history of the French man simply known as: Tarrare. This one is a *lil* gross, so if you have a weak stomach this tale might not be for you. It is pretty interesting though.

Skylar talks about the end of the Romanov dynasty. If you are curious of royal history, but find the Romanov's to be a tad overwhelming, this is a nice condensed version of the end.
