May 14, 2015 at 1:30 PM, a man walking through the ritzy Woodley Park neighborhood of Washington DC noticed something unsettling. Thick, black smoke was pouring out of an upstairs window of a $4.5M home. The man called 911, and firefighters arrived on scene almost immediately. By that evening four people had been declared dead at the scene of this fire- a fire that had clearly been intentionally set. All four people suffered traumatic injuries. They had been stabbed, strangled, and tortured for over 22 hours. This wasn’t a tragic accident or a house fire gone wrong. This was murder.
This week, Emily takes us through the truly horrific story of Savvas Savapoulos, Amy Savapoulos, Phillip Savapoulos, and their housekeeper, Vera Figaroa who suffered an unimaginable fate at the hands of a seriously cold-blooded killer. There's not much to joke about here, folks! But we do have some questions for Debbie and Jordan (call us, ladies!) and Sarah reminds us all to not go around requesting $40K from your employer. Join us for Part 1 of our coverage of this crazy case!
