This show features local Denver comedians talking about anything and everything within the Colorado comedy scene. We hope to create a space where people can say whatever they want and we are not a success until we have someone lose their job at SNL. Each episode will feature different people from the local comedy scene in Denver discussing their stories and perspectives. Throughout the show, we break down jokes, tell stories from the local scene and discuss all of the important things happening all around the world. This week on the  podcast we have the hilarious Ryan Trickey, originally from Kansas City and also Phillip Cano, a true Denver OG and founder of The Humor Under Ground (THUG). The group went wild on this one and talked about going to male strip clubs, the greatness of Matchbox Twenty and which comedian with a Netflix special would win in a cage fight against the others. Phillip also flawlessly shotguns a beer at one point live on the podcast within 2 seconds. The hosts Evan Fitzgerald and Dylan Kantor had a great time with these two guests and would like to thank them for coming by the studio.

Laura and Evan were feeling desperate to explore somewhere new and made a snap decision to take a trip to the city of Santa Fe, New Mexico. With stories and reviews from their 48 hour holiday, this episode is a recap of that adventure.  Santa Fe is one of the oldest cities in the US with a distinct southwestern look that was like nothing the two had seen before and with such a small city size, Evan and Laura were able to see and do just about everything Santa Fe had to offer within walking distance. Evan picks an old lady up off of the ground, Laura gets attracted to a Spanish guitarist and a fight almost breaks out when Evan's honor is questioned by a pastor named Lawrence. The hotel was amazing, the food was authentic and the architecture was mind blowing. After a quick discussion about their Thanksgiving celebration, the two go through a full walk through of their adventure and debate the highs and lows of their trip. They fell in love with Santa Fe’s color scheme, starting with its expansive blue sky and the adobe buildings that blend into the desert landscape. Santa Fe’s multicultural history, with strong Native American, Spanish and Mexican influences, is evident everywhere from the architecture to the food. This podcast captures their experience traveling to and exploring the city and hopefully inspires others to take some time to visit new places and see new things. 

This podcast was recorded after a Thanksgiving feast hosted by Austin Langely with the idea of giving local Denver comedians a place to go for the holiday. The entire celebration was captured in this show, full of comics enjoying each other's company, with stomachs full of turkey and discussing the different things we are thankful for. Every holiday is best spent surrounded by loved friends, and this Thanksgiving was overflowing with laughs, funny stories, and sharing old memories. Whether its Jeff Stonic eating pie loudly or everyone making fun of Noah Miller, this episode is the perfect example of what every Friendsgiving should strive to be and it's all thanks to the host Austin for putting on such a great party. This week we have Carlos Morales and Damon Howard in the Slaughterhouse Studio with our hosts Dylan Kantor and Evan Fitzgerald. 

It's Halloween in November on this episode of Permanently Unengaged podcast and Laura gets things rolling by slaughtering Evan at a made up game and then bragging about being the real bread winner of the relationship. Since Evan and Laura are from a land without seasons (Florida), the two discuss how pretty it is to watch Denver slowly slip into Autumn and the leaves changing across the city. After a review of Comrade Brewery, and a Lightning update, the two discuss their nick-name for Laura's boss and then finally Evan plays a video to open the show. That video is followed by an announcement about Laura's family adopting her nephews and a video of one of them being the cutest child ever. The two give a Garden Update, and then Laura flexes hard about her pumpkin carving skills. That leads into the pair sharing their favorite Halloween memories of scary events, pranks and specific horror movies. Evan has Laura attempt to roll her R's live on the podcast so everyone understands just how crazy Laura is and then Evan tells a story about standing up against a mob at Walgreens. The two explain their sides of the day "Instagram Died" and how it effected Denver Spot Locator's ability to argue with roller-bladers. Laura and Evan decide on the theme for music at their hypothetical wedding and also recount a few lies they were told as children that they 100% believed to be true. Thats when things get a little dark and Laura tells a story about stepping on a hamster, which is the perfect intro to a news story Evan has been holding onto regarding Australian Sheppards. To end the episode on a lighter note, Evan gives a small report on State Dogs and Dinosaur bones. It might be the most educational thing to happen on the podcast so far.

The two boys start this episode off with quite the failure to launch but things get rolling by the time they're joking about their favorite ghosts and pumpkin beers. A shoutout to the TB Lightning leads to a conversation about major hockey injuries and the dangers of the Iron Lotus. Evan discusses getting too much pleasure from pissing off a bunch of roller-bladers and Christian gives a review of the new Denver Meow Wolf. The boys reminisce back on the antics they would get into at other people's houses while house sitting and upsetting the owners. After a discussion about being manly, seeing sensitivity as a benefit, and Radical Masculinity, Evan suggests creating an LLC for the podcast in case we get sued, and that leads to Slaughterhouse Studios Law Firm being born. The Firm gets its first case live on the podcast and the case is a juicy one. The two transition into a News segment called "Send News" that has everything from crossbow shootings, to ninjas attacking the navy. These news stories were brought to you by Christian's new tablet, and his symmetrical face. They come up with a new code word for dumb people, and Evan explains feeling Spanish on the inside. The show ends with a new game called "Hot or Not" that has all kinds of topics and subjects all over the map being discussed and thoroughly broken down. 

Nick Cesarini called Evan Fitzgerald early one morning and said "I'm bringing coffee, and we need to do a podcast. I have a wild story to tell you". After working for months at the same junk removal place in Denver, Nick got called into a meeting where the owners implemented a new "snitches get rewarded" policy and this causes Nick the "disrespectful delinquent" to put in is two weeks. Nick began to feel like he was getting fired by the end of the day, so he does the smoothest move in resignation history and trolls his boss with a "Sorry For You Loss" letter. The whole story is a whorl wind and captures the feeling of an employee being dissatisfied with their supervisors until that employee decides to take a stand. The rest of the episode is all over the place starting with conversations about working in food service, chefs that smoke meth, DND, movies, traveling, and "Dad Jokes". The two also discuss our "go-to albums", the many uses of plastic bags and Mischief Magazine. This podcast started with a story about Nick's boss ass way of quitting his job and ends up all over the map in a million different directions. Slaughterhouse Studios was honored to have Nick in studio to share his experience and is proud to have this podcast as the capturing of a moment. The entire show is summarized best by Nick himself at the end of the show as "This was a wonderful time, with Evan and Nick".
