On the 9th July 2020 I was admitted into hospital with Viral Meningitis. This is my 6th attack and 5th in the last 7 years. I have a condition called Mollaret's Meningitis which means recurring viral meningitis. I've been keeping an audio journal for a few years now and decided to record a series focusing on my experience of living with this rare chronic illness in the hope of raising awareness of the condition.

Today's episode was recorded on 17th July 2020. I got the month wrong again, I say June on the recording. I talk about the daily headaches that continue following an attack. They can go on for months.
