  • How To Become Prosperous During Midlife | Michael Chatman | Episode TML147
“Prosperity will never make you generous, but generosity will always make you prosperous” ~ Michael Chatman
How to become prosperous at any age is open for broad and varied interpretation. If you asked a number of your close associates or family members on “how to become prosperous,” I guarantee you would leave somewhat confused.
Everyone of your friends and family members will give you their definition. Would any of them be wrong?
Here is what Merriam-Webster states as the definition of pros.per.ous: having or showing success or financial good fortune. 2 : strong and healthy in growth.
Based upon this definition it could be said that prosperity is not only measured in financial success as most people tend to think, but it also has to do with a healthy expansion.
Someone could be prosperous in farming, animal rearing, educational accomplishments, athletic accomplishments, etc. It could have broad meanings.
In this episode our guest – Michael Chatman – describes his definition of prosperity in a way you might not have thought of before.
Michael breaks down what prosperity means and how each one of us can be prosperous in our lives.
It may surprise of the way he frames it.

  • 5 Reasons To Make Your Midlife Health A Priority | Kingsley Grant | Episode TML145
Making your health a priority is not a new or a profound statement. I’m sure you have heard that in one way or another in the past or even presently. You may have a family member or friend who constantly point that out to you. You don’t need one more person, namely me, to add to the fray.
I hope you don’t see that as such. I’m speaking to myself as much as to you. As a matter of fact, this episode has derived from my recent health issues, which seemingly has made a turn for the better. I’m so thankful for that.
As I struggled with my health, I was reminded that our health – yours and mine – has to be and is a priority. If you don’t have your health, you really don’t have anything else. Poor health tends to translate into a “poor” life.
Not being able to do a whole lot as I was in recovery mode, I had some time to reflect. I couldn’t really do a whole lot more.
From this reflection, I came up with five reasons to make your midlife health a priority. I’m sure this is not exhaustive. However, I think it makes the point that I’m hoping to make.
In this episode I shared 5 Reasons To Make Your Midlife Health A Priority and then I gave 5 ways to go about doing so.
    1. No one else will
    2. Without it you’re of no good to self or others
    3. You will feel and look better
    4. You’ll be able to fulfill your God-given purpose
    5. Possibly extend your life span
Hear are 5 ways to do so:
    1. Adequate rest / sleep
    2. Proper diet (eat healthier)
    3. Drink lots of water
    4. Exercise regularly
    5. Take vitamins / supplements.

  • Sexy Boss Gone Wild Explains It All | Heather Ann Havenwood | Episode TML144
You may have heard the term “gone wild” associated with negative images and stories. Because of these stories, the term has been hijacked to almost always mean something negative.
The point of using the words, is to create in the mind an image of something out of control. And indeed, I’ve seen a number of “gone wild” stories, that have nothing but negative images.
There was a very successful marketing strategy used to promote these sensational stories. The one that most people know and remember is “Girls gone wild.”
However, I believe it’s possible to create new images with positive stories to showcase the other side.
What happens when a person goes wild with their creative genius and produce for the world, a life changing movement? What happens when someone takes their God-given skillets and help as many people as possible to live a life they never thought they could live?
To me, that is someone “gone wild.” They are making a difference in their world with ideas, products and other service, which makes the world a better place.
That is the story of our guest today.
In this episode our guest – Heather Ann Havenwood – shared her journey from being someone who was so shy to the point of having to undergo speech therapy in late adolescent, to wanting to speak before thousands.
How did that happen? What was the defining moment for her? These are some of the questions she will answer throughout this episode.
She speaks about embracing fear and using it to work for you rather than against you.
You will also hear her talk about some of her strongest skill-sets and how you too can identify yours, and go to work on it or with it.

  • The Funeral That Changed My Life | Matt Suderstrom | Episode TML143
Not many people I know like to have a discussion around funerals. It is a scary topic for some while for others it’s a taboo. It’s somehow to not talk about it, will make it go away.
One thing that I can say for certain, everyone dies. The death rate is 100% guaranteed.
Here is what the wisest man outside of Christ who ever lived – Solomon – said: “It is better to go to a house of mourning than to go to a house of feasting, for death is the destiny of everyone; the living should take this to heart.”
I think this is to remind us to make the best of what we have – our life, and live it to the fullest.
In this episode our guest – Matt Soderstrum – shared how his life changed as a result of attending two specific funerals. This experienced made him realize something very important.
You will hear him talk about the experience but also the take-away. One of the take-aways led him to discover and pursue his life plan (this is an assessment).
Matt walks us through his journey from a short stint as a school teacher, funeral director, pastor and now a coach or how he refers more to himself – A Life Director.
You will also hear how he struggle making the decision to step away and WHO helped him through the process. It may surprise you of his answer.

  • Life Goes On Even When The Unexpected Happens | Kingsley Grant | Episode TML142
I grew up hearing and getting used to the phrase, “Life goes on.” Did you grow up hearing that?
It normally would be used when something happens in life and there may or may not be an explanation for it. It would be said in the context of an encouragement.
When something tragic has happened, I’m not sure it is a wise thing to say unless you are the person who have gone through the experience.
In this brief episode I shared my experience when the unexpected flu “took me down” and what I’ve done and is doing.
