How do you define theory?
A theory is a carefully thought-out explanation for observations of the natural world that has been constructed using the scientific method, and which brings together many facts and hypotheses.
–
A scientific theory is an explanation of an aspect of the natural world and universe that has been repeatedly tested and corroborated in accordance with the scientific method, using accepted protocols of observation, measurement, and evaluation of results.
–
From our viewpoint ‘theory’ is guess work. What do you think?

“When children start coloring inside the lines, they’re learning about cause and effect,”. To color outside the lines is an idiom that means to not follow the rules, to think creatively, to behave in an unconventional manner.

Kevin Smith said it best in his documentary ‘Clerk’ when we said the following:
‘Live your dreams and say what you wanna say before you leave this world…’
–
Over the course of your life, you’ve listened to people talk on the radio, or seen people talk on the TV, and you’ve said to yourself, or thought to yourself, “I’m smarter than these people, I’m funnier that this person.” But nobody is going to know unless you kinda go out there and express yourself in some way, shape or form.
–
“Having the heart attack was a very pointed reminder that we’re all living on borrowed time. After the heart attack, things where I thought, ‘I’ll get to that later,’ became a priority,” Smith, 52, tells the Sun in a phone interview from Seattle.
–
Kevin as well as others have been a voice for a generation that used their own ways to express change in the world.
–
The truth is we should all take that chance and do and say what we want if it hurts no one and doesn’t infringe on others people’s freedoms or well-being.
–
Go live and never be afraid to express yourself.

More and more streaming services are being launched as traditional media conglomerates expand into this area. While we’d see these networks sent their content over to Netflix or Hulu a few years ago, things are exponentially more complicated now.
–
Whether having so many streaming services is a good or a bad idea is debatable, as there are definitely pros and cons. Thankfully, there are ways to take control of the situation so that you’re not overwhelmed with the number of streaming services available.
–
What’s Happening with the Media Streaming Industry?
Big networks figured out that online programming consumption is the way to go in today’s world. Having the ability to go online and watch the latest episodes of your favorite show at anytime from anywhere is fabulous. Also, binge-watching entire seasons in one go is what we all dreamed of a couple of decades ago.
–
Having all these platforms, however, has become tiring and confusing. In fact, recent studies indicate that viewers are getting increasingly overwhelmed.

Sorry I missed 2 days of episodes but I was sick and had zero energy. With that it got me thinking of this time of year and the struggles we all go through and what is important for us to stay ‘balanced’ and healthy.
–
You may go to the doctor to get regular physical checkups of your body, but what about your mind? Everyone deals with tough times, but even happy events like a new job, school, friends, a marriage, or a new baby can add stress.
–
How do you know when stress starts taking a toll on your mental or emotional health?
–
If you have any of these five symptoms for more than a few weeks, it may be time for a mental checkup.
–
1) Grouchiness. Are you normally a happy person but lately find yourself blowing up over small things or arguing more with friends or family?
2) Sleeplessness. Many people don’t get enough sleep, but they just assume they need to roll with it. That’s not healthy.
3) Difficulty being with people. Often, the first sign of depression is when a normally social person starts avoiding people and stops interacting on social media. So if you find yourself checking out, you might want to ask yourself why.
4) Eating more or less. There are times, like holidays, where people tend to overeat. But long-term overeating or constantly reaching for foods high in fat and sugar could be a sign of stress or emotional eating.
5) Can’t relax. If you’re always wound up with a racing mind, it could be a symptom of anxiety. Unlike depression that often comes and goes, anxiety can become a constant — and easily overlooked — part of life. People can live with it for years without noticing its ties to mental health.
–
Your health is more than just the physical and it is all tied into each other. It is important to maintain all areas of your health.

From Robert Burns’ poem To a Mouse, 1786. It tells of how he, while ploughing a field, upturned a mouse’s nest. In todays vocabulary we often use the phrase ‘The best laid schemes of mice and men’ and as todays episode is about ‘Planning’ we are using it in its modern use. Today we are talking about ‘planning’ and mainly ‘planning ahead’.
–
The best-laid plans refers to something that has gone awry, something that has not turned out as well as one had hoped. The expression the best-laid plans carries the connotation that one should not expect for things to always turn out to plan. Like many proverbs, the best-laid plans is usually quoted by itself, though it is not the full proverb. The full proverb is, the best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry. This is a passage from the poem To a Mouse, written by the Scottish poet Robert Burns in 1786. The verse was translated into English, the original Scottish quotation is: The best laid schemes o’ mice an’ men / Gang aft a-gley, / An’ lea’e us nought but grief an’ pain, / For promised joy. Note that best-laid plans is spelled with a hyphen, as best-laid functions as an adjective before a noun. Laid is sometimes misspelled as layed, though layed is not a word. Laid is is the past tense and past participle tense of lay.

10) Love yourself more and those people that are there for you
Bonus Point) If you are wondering why the toothpaste is now locked up at the store you should google it to know why. Seems there is a new level of low lifes out there. Be patient as Karma does come around in time.

Stop Romanticizing the Holidays
–
Movies, popular culture and social media often romanticize and set ideas of what the holidays are supposed to look like. When you’re feeling pressure to cook the perfect meal, decorate a beautiful holiday home or spend enough money to get a gift, you often set yourself up for increased stress and anxiety. You might also have a home where tension and difficult family relationships, paint anything but a perfect holiday picture. Take it all in pace and enjoy what matters.
–
We’ve always been taught, and on many levels known, that the world is better when we focus our time and energy on giving to others. But as news of global struggles and conflicts reach us through our phones every hour of every day, our desire to help has only grown. And while it may seem overwhelming at times to think that our individual efforts can make a difference, know this: they can.
–
Give to yourself this holiday season and to others if you have the means.

The Power Of The Smile
–
A smile appears to have this strange, incomprehensible power. When you start your day with a smile, it’s hard to be down, angry, or overly stressed. Your mood almost immediately changes from gloomy to optimistic.
–
Even when you find yourself having to force it, smiling does wonders for your psyche. It lifts you up; it dissipates the fog of a groggy, weary morning; and it cracks your solid shell of melancholy, opening you up to the potential for Joy and laughter. Just another benefit of smiling.
–
In short, smiling changes the color – and outlook – of your day.
–
It can change someone else’s too!
