And we end today with all the details you will need to carry out all of your Burnt Offering, Absolution Offering, and Whole Grain offering needs. Details matter and there is always meaning behind those details. Let's explore why on todays Journey Through The Message!

How cool would it be to be on the mountain with Jesus when he gets a visit from some Old Testament Heavyweights!? I'm sure the disciples were utterly amazed watching Moses and Elijah chit-chatting with Jesus. In Acts, the Jews are plotting Paul's murder but his nephew happens to overhear their nasty plan and springs into action. I love how God puts people in just the right spot to make sure his plan moves forward! And we end today by beginning the book of Leviticus! I will admit, I don't currently have many reference points in Leviticus but I am ready for that to change! God is taking the time to teach the Israelites how to be Holy in a culture that was anything but that. Kind of sounds like where we are at today! Don't become so well adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God - you will be changed from the inside out!

What would you trade your soul for? I think Jesus knew his time was short on this earth and he wasn't pulling any punches. Paul gets a visit from God with instructions for his next adventure - to the capital we go! And today we finish out the book of Exodus and have a little challenge for you - Look up the current price of Gold, Silver, and Bronze and do the math! How much is it worth in today's dollars? We ended with a cliffhanger yesterday with Paul in front of an angry mob that is out for blood. What does he do? He pulls the PAUL card as only Paul can do. Isn't citizenship a great thing? The disciples hanging out with Jesus were good at a lot of things, but remembering the bread and something to eat was not one of them. Jesus rolls up and says hold my goblet, I got this! I love some of the one-liners in this version, especially the "Don't be a joke with no punchline"! I need to put some of these on a mug lol. And we end today in Exodus with some overview on everything that's been going on in the desert. Get on your camel and hang on to your turban on today's Journey Through The Message!

The Galilean Urgent Care is busy as usual, but Jesus always takes time to chat about matters of the heart. Paul is in some trouble with the people in the city and before he can escape, he makes a very odd request. I pray for that kind of boldness! And as we end in Exodus, God is sharpening his writing finger and downloading Moses with the details. Join us on this Journey Through the Message!

When Jesus gets riled up, he doesn't pull any punches! Legalism had a way of making his blood boil...and for good reason! Paul's fan club really didn't want to see him go, but they knew what God placed on his heart and he was prepared to be obedient to the Master. And wow, the Israelites had NO patience! I can't imagine that the Golden Calf Tea that Moses made them drink tasted very good. Maybe if it was on the Rocks?

Sometimes saying goodbyes to friends can be the hardest thing, especially when you have bonded with them over Jesus! Paul could have found a comfy apartment and retired, but God had other plans for him and he was obedient to the call on his heart. We have another well known passage today with Jesus walking on the water and Peter jumping out to meet him. I bet it was that childlike faith that got him out of the boat and walking those first few steps. I pray we all have a little bit more of that.

After feeding the 5,000 with 5 loaves and 2 fish, where on earth did they store all of the left overs? I mean it's not like they had tupperware! John the Baptist makes his final appearance at a banquet and he makes his trip up the stairway to Heaven. And we are on part B subsection 5 of the IKEA instructions. Our God is a God of details and order and he lays it out in black and white in today's Journey Through The Message!

It's like an IKEA playbook with hooks and loops and pegs, oh my! Join us for a break from the norm and take a Journey Through The Message!
