After being blindsided by the breakup of a relationship of 18 years, Sonia had no idea how she would maintain sobriety. Traditional recovery meetings were either too large to allow for conversation or feedback was limited.

“Recovery can be just asking for help and even in asking for help, especially when asking for help, we suddenly open ourselves to receive unbelievable gifts…”
On this week’s episode, we chat with Ben C. who you may remember as the “Dude, you’re getting a Dell” guy. He talks about the importance of asking for help and the power we receive in accepting help. We can’t - and don’t have to - do this alone. Our recovery community is here to help us when we can’t help ourselves and there’s no shame in asking for help.
