What does it look like when a physician stands not just for nursing as a profession--but WITH nursing? In this episode, we interview Dr. Chris Keefer, an Emergency Physician and fellow podcaster who penned an Open Letter to Political and Healthcare leaders signed by over 700 emergency physicians. He also helped mobilize and marched with frontline nurses. 

What does your physician advocacy for nursing look like?

Dr. Chris Keefer is an Emergency Medicine physician with an interest in activated learning through simulation based medical education. He is the director of EMDeliberate practice, a high risk medical procedural training course. He is also the founder and director of Doctors for Nuclear Energy. Dr. Keefer is a pro-nuclear climate and clean air activist and the host of the Decouple Podcast and WeCANDUIt! podcast. Dr. Keefer is the president of Canadians for Nuclear Energy, a grassroots non-profit made up of climate, health and labour advocates.
