As much as we try to prevent injuries from occurring, we’re never going to eradicate injuries completely. The levels that we push our bodies to harbour too many variables and are often acute events that are out of our control.
But the advantage attained by those of us who understand and invest in our S&C is the ability to act logically and appropriately so that 1. no further damage is done and 2. you can resume normal training as soon as possible.
