A nonprofit board retreat: what is it, why should you have one, and how would you structure 6+ hours to ensure everyone finds value in the event? I have facilitated nearly 100 retreats over the years, and I believe properly approached, getting everyone in the same room for an entire day can be of great benefit to the organization.
