There certainly were some matches behind us since we went on a Vegas break. Two points from three matches doesn't sound all that impressive and, well, it isn't.
But stealing that point from Portland could just be the kick in the sack the boys in Rave Green need to move up the standings and scootch to the good side of mediocre.
The Sounders looked just fine playing in a Christmas tree formation. So why will they not stick to something that worked? Let's take a look into the crystal ball and find answers.
And here's another notice, the Pow Wow will be taking a few days off to allow for Jonathon and Katy to vacation.
Once again the wheels came off the train in Columbus, but no one can say we came to park the bus, right?
And this weekend sees a poor road gaming Houston visit Seattle. Can the offense do something? Anything?
That certainly was three points against a depleted RSL team last weekend. Not quite the showing we could have hoped to see.
And now the Timbers are coming to town (ho, ho, ho). What to do, what to do?
Plus there is talk of something entertaining happening in Seattle in December? Whatever could it be?
Somehow managed to give up six goals and score none in two separate second half outings. Perhaps something is amiss?
Or there could be a cloud of gas hanging over the locker room?
Or something?
The Pow Wow offers little to no insight on the problems plaguing the team but answers questions and that's a good thing.
That certainly was a game against Toronto last weak. On display for the entire Major League Soccer to enjoy, the Sounders unable to generate offense. Sound familiar?
We cover two upcoming matches (because we're lazy) and have the same to say about both after our abysmal performance at home last weekend.
And we invite y'all to wish your mothers a Happy Mother's Day from the Pow Wow.
While there was certainly a few things to rejoice over from the comeback draw against the Revolution last week, there were plenty of questions as well.
Looking ahead to the match against Toronto a few things need to be addressed, most importantly, "Where does the sea foam go?"
Without Troy to help steer this wayward ship, we recorded late, didn't say a whole lot and were generally late.
And Jonathon talked too much. Pretty much a normal show.
But yay for the Galaxy beat down, huh?
After a spectacular let-down in Vancouver, the Pow Wow talks about what ghost has come back to haunt us as well as dreams about a successful end to the road trip.
And answers questions...lots of questions.
We got a point on the road!!!
We got a point on the road!!!
It must have therefore, been a fantastic game to watch, right? Let's discuss that shall we?
And Friday the boys head to the Great White North to take on the Raindrops. And Fredy Montero. Drat.
