A game certainly happened on Friday night and we were there to yawn our way through it. No, not completely boring but certainly unsatisfying.
New faces on the field and old faces looming down the coast. The Pow Wow discusses them both as well as hearing Troy's answer to an age old question.
It's been a while since we sat down and chatted about things so we squeak this show under the wire before the boys take on the high-flying Atlantians.
And it's Katy's birthday.
Troy is back in the fold (and in the Den of Inequity) and we discuss the trials of traveling to Montreal, the joys of seeing the boys in Rave Green again on the home pitch and the tribulations of getting into the stadium.
Plus, there's questions to answer and gloating to be done.
That's totally poutine.
Without Troy there are things which happened, some good, some not so good. Take for instance, the sponsorship gone awry.
Or the Ask The Pow Wow which went someplace else.
Or the artwork this week.
But at least all the game last weekend didn't suck.
A long pre-season has lulled some of us into a state of meh-ness. But don't let the meh fool you, there is plenty to talk about one week before the Major League Soccer season officially begins.
Not the least of which is EXACTLY how many Sounders shirts each of us own followed closely by who we think is going to be the Supporter's Shield winners for 2017.
And there's singing.
Finally made it to the promised land (albeit without he who promised) and the MLS Cup lives in Seattle for at least 10 months.
Wrapping up 2016 with rumors, thoughts and questions (or one questions, rather).
Have a superior New Year!
Can you believe it? After the miserable start to the 2016 season our boys have turned it around and are playing for the Championship and one of those little stars on their uniforms.
There is plenty to discuss and then more. If you are squeamish about vermin, you may want to skip the last 20 minutes of the show. But before that we cover match-ups, predictions, who we are protecting in the upcoming expansion draft and of course, vagina coffee.
Go Sounders!!!
Finally Jonathon got his act together and remembered to hit the record button (fidiot).
Previewing the upcoming match against Colorado Rapids without Tim Howard (and possibly Gashi) but with Brad Evans and possibly Andreas Ivanschitz, Jordan Morris and El Flaco (and maybe even Roman Torres?).
And there are things discussed, not the least of which is v-coffee.
Somehow the Sounders made it to the post-season and the Pow Wow couldn't be happier. So happy in fact, that a guest co-host was brought in to express our collective delight.
There is end of the season Fantasy League stuff to discuss as well as predictions about other things.
Also, be sure to join our Playoff Bracket thing on MLS Soccer Soccer Soccer.com.
This is it. The final match of the season and the Sounders hold their play-off destiny in their hands. What say the Pow Wow? Whenever talk drifts to the Sounders (ya know, there's things like Fantasy League bets and other such things) we have opinions. Plenty of opinions.
Oh, and Mr. Geiger S a B of D.
