October is finally here! This week we have a special guest- Sue Burgess, the Director of Trousdale Place in Gallatin, Tennessee, which is arguably one of the most active haunted locations in Middle Tennessee. Lots of history and hauntings in this old house built in 1813.

I've been teasing it for a while, but a new book has dropped! Hexed is here! The books is about a voodoo doctor in 1940s Knoxville who winds up feuding with a piano teacher in his apartment complex. This is a really wild story that Hollywood could never make up! I hope you enjoy it!

We've got a wild story about the Human Fly died scaling the Rutherford County Courthouse in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, an insane French werewolf story as well a Biloxi, Mississippi Civil War ghost story. Oh, we can't forget about the lady who jumped to her death from the tallest building in Nashville!

Allen and Lee are back and this time we are covering one of Chicago's most notorious true crime stories with a little spiritualism and a ghost story sprinkled in. Adolph Luetgert made a fortune selling sausage in the Windy City during the Colombian Exposition in 1893. However, once the festival left town, business started drying up. His wife, Louisa, started asking questions and then she suddenly disappeared. Days later, her wedding ring was found in a vat of acid in the basement of the sausage factory. This bizarre true crime tales inspired Allen's new book, "The Sausage King."
