  • Soul School-Lesson 49: Do You Triangulate? [SPOILER: yes.]
The prominence of (social/psychological) triangulation leaks a subtle toxin into our common life. You do it. I do it, and we fail to see how poisonous it is to us. What does it entail? How does it happen? What is the cost? And how can we do better? That will be the topic today.

If you ever felt like people were talking about you behind your back, or if you've ever venting to a friend about someone who's driving you crazy, this show is an important one.

To read more about triangulation in detail, go to the show notes at SparkMyMuse.com for a link.

Thank you to listeners, old and new, you mean a lot to me. If you have never rated the show on iTunes, please do that today, and for sharing this episode widely!

  • Soul School - Lesson 48: Embodying Ritual and Transition
It has been said (I think rightly) that ritual came along to combat our core human fears and anxieties. While unexamined or superstitious rituals don't heal our fears, thoughtful sacramental living can add new richness to our lives. This richness may involve ritualizing and celebrating certain meaningful moments by showing how the invisible can represented by the visible. From there, we pull what is only abstract notions from our minds into the tangible world in which we live, love, breath, and move. We can be live a more integrated and more fully embodied life that does not so easily slip into the mind/body dualistic fallacy. Today, I explain this concept and challenge you to leave both pure abstractions behind and unexamined rituals behind and draw out integrated ritual in new ways.

Your support of SparkMyMuse.com means so much to me. I'm so happy that so many new listeners are tuning in. • Eps 77: Guest, Srini Rao - Being Unmistakable and Recovering From Failure
The unmistakable Srini Rao is the CEO of Unmistakable Creative Media. His blogging helped him move into podcasting and animation/media, and now a very successful book about how to find YOUR unmistakable thing. Our conversation is freshingly honest about the foolish traps that ensure us as we pursue our creative dreams, businesses, projects, or adventures. Srini also talks about his own bumpy road to success, how he picks his amazing podcast guests, why he got fired from every job he had, how to recover from failure, and his new book, Unmistakable: Why Only is Better Than Best.

Visit SparkMyMuse.com for extensive show notes, and links to many other episodes and goodies. Be kind and chip in a few bucks to support the show. (There's a donate button in the show notes, in my Twitter profile @lisadelay, and patreon.com/sparkmymuse is the monthly member club.)
