In a special edition of The Race Formula E podcast the recently unveiled Gen 3 car is discussed with two of its most influential figures, the FIA’s Frederic Bertrand and Alessandra Ciliberti.

They are welcomed by Andrew van de Burgt and Sam Smith to pick over the key topics from the launch of the striking new car, including its much talked about aesthetics, the increase in power, its lightweight construction, brand new Hankook tyres and the next steps in its development before the 2023 season.

Also debated is the new sporting structure and format for Gen 3 racing where the popular Attack Mode philosophy is discussed at length on whether it will be viable to be used in conjunction with the anticipated return of pit stops and rapid charging technology.

Additionally, Smith gives insight in to Sebastien Buemi’s move from Nissan to Envision, and the future of Techeetah is also mulled over.
