Episode 3
Welcome to episode 3 of Off The Beat & track Podcast with me Stu Whiffen.
This episodes special guest is UK-based percussionist, bandleader, DJ, music critic and journalist Snowboy (a.k.a. Mark Cotgrove)
I met with Snowboy at The Pink Toothbrush Nighhtclub and he came armed with 7 fantastic records which have sound tracked his life to date and we go in on that journey and discuss growing up in Essex and how he shaped his creative path and from gracing the iconic dancefloors of late 70s and early 80's venues like The Goldmine, Crocs and Lacey Lady with best friend and bass player in Talk Talk Paul Webb
We then discuss his career which has seen him work with such artists as Lisa Stansfield, Imelda May, Amy Winehouse, Rod Temperton, Mark Ronson, Simply Red, Herman Olivera, Jon Lucien, James Taylor Quartet, Mica Paris, Incognito, Darrel Higham, Patti Austin, Big Boy Bloater and many, many more.
