Spiegel & Holmes Show

In the final hour, Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel carried on with a variety of shenanigans, including a debate about whether Parkins' vasectomy will be successful or if he'll eventually have an Antonio Cromartie situation to deal with. The crew also revisited the drama surrounding Score insider Hub Arkush's explanation for not voting for Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers for MVP.

In the third hour, Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel were joined by Score teammate Mark Grote, who shared the hottest audio from Halas Hall. Bears coach Matt Nagy denied reports that he’s already been notified he'll be fired after the finale Sunday, and star pass rusher Robert Quinn spoke about his nuts. Then, the College Football Playoff is absolutely tanking. It seems like viewers are tired of the monotony. And how do you avoid star players opting out of bowl games? It should be realistic to offer someone like Pittsburgh star quarterback Kenny Pickett a $50,000 “endorsement fee” to play in the bowl game.

In the second hour, Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel turned their attention to the Bears. Boomer Esiason reported on WFAN this morning that Bears coach Matt Nagy has been informed this Sunday will be his last game with the organization. Of course, Nagy denied the report in his press conference this afternoon. We’ve also got some time today, so let’s talk about the best movies and shows we watched over the holiday break. And how does Pete Carroll to the Bears sound to you? Because we’d like to throw up.

Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel opened their show by discussing how Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers has responded to Score insider Hub Arkush’s explanation on our show Tuesday of why he won't vote for Rodgers for MVP. Needless to say, Rodgers isn't very happy. That being said, let’s take a look at who votes for awards like the NFL MVP. Should the media be voting on something like that?

Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel were joined by K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago to detail his experience filling in for Adam Amin on the play-by-play call three minutes before tip-off of the Bulls-Pacers game in Indianapolis last Friday. What the hell goes through your mind before doing play-by-play for the FIRST TIME at the NBA level?

The Parkins family is expecting baby No. 2! Naturally, it's a great time for Shane Riordan -- father of none -- to give Danny parenting advice.

In the third hour, Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel were joined by 670 The Score football insider Hub Arkush, who knows Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh better than the majority of folks in the Chicagoland area. Is there a legitimate chance Harbaugh could become the next Bears head coach? Then, Hub explained that Packers star Aaron Rodgers is the best player on the field just about every times he plays, but Rodgers won’t be getting his MVP vote. Hub claimed Rodgers hurt his team in the offseason, but the Packers are the top seed in the NFC. Not great.

In the final hour, Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel turned their attention back to the Bears. Well, all right, if general manager Ryan Pace is sticking around the Bears organization in a new role, what should his job be? Because we sure as hell don’t want him making any legitimate football decisions. Maybe the McCaskeys will adopt him. Then, we shared wild audio from the "Manningcast" on Monday night. Roger Goodell and Snoop Dogg are a match made in heaven.
