Spiegel & Holmes Show

In the second hour, Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel were joined by K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago to detail his experience filling in for Adam Amin on the play-by-play call three minutes before tip-off of the Bulls-Pacers game in Indianapolis last Friday. What the hell goes through your mind before doing play-by-play for the FIRST TIME at the NBA level? Also, the Parkins family is expecting baby No. 2! It's a great time for Shane Riordan, father of none, to give Danny parenting advice. Later, BetQL Daily host Joe Ostrowski joined the show to discuss the latest lines and wagers.

Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel opened their show by discussing how Bulls star DeMar DeRozan was NOT named the Eastern Conference Player of the Month despite having a monster December. Trash. Also, Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh might be considering a return to the NFL, according to the Athletic. The Bears are a no-brainer option, right?

Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel were joined by 670 The Score football insider Hub Arkush, who knows Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh better than the majority of folks in the Chicagoland area. Is there a legitimate chance Harbaugh could become the next Bears head coach? Then, Hub explained that Packers star Aaron Rodgers is the best player on the field just about every times he plays, but Rodgers won’t be getting his MVP vote. Hub claimed Rodgers hurt his team in the offseason, but the Packers are the top seed in the NFC. Not great.

In the final hour, Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel discussed how as of late, Bulls star DeMar DeRozan has been THAT MAN. With back-to-back 3-point game-winning buzzer-beaters Friday and Saturday, "the NBA’s worst free agency acquisition" has the Bulls in first place in the Eastern Conference. Also, it’s time for the Bears to completely restructure their front office. Spiegs thinks a committee of former players should be brought in to show the new regime how the organization has operated.

Danny Parkins isn't getting his 2-year-old son a birthday present. And he also has yet to take down his Christmas decorations and didn't know you had to salt a driveway during the winter. Yikes!

Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel were joined by Score teammate and WBBM sideline reporter Mark Grote to share the hottest Bears audio from Halas Hall on Monday.

Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel welcomed on Score analyst Patrick Mannelly. Yeah, we can talk all sorts of Bears with Mannelly, but more importantly Pat golfed with MICHAEL JORDAN a few weeks back and that sounds so much better of a topic than literally anything having to do with football. Also, is it time to bring in a football person to help Bears chairman George McCaskey better run the organization?

Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel welcomed on WFAN host and NFL on CBS analyst Boomer Esiason. Seriously, man – what the hell? The Giants and Bears were on CBS on Sunday and Boomer can’t mention our show in either pregame or at halftime?!? The disrespect! Anyway, let’s discuss the quality of quarterbacking and the future of the Bears coaching staff with Boomer.
