In the second hour, Matt Spiegel was joined by Cubs television play-play man Len Kasper to discuss their band, The 45. They have a new song called "Pills," and Kasper explained how he was inspired to write the song. The guys also left a voicemail for White Sox television play-by-play man Jason Benetti, who was supposed to join them but instead used his time to sleep. Spiegel then played the collaboration that he and Benetti have been doing called "Good Comp, Bad Comp." They tried to find the best comparison for Randy Johnson. Later, Spiegel shared what he remembered from the 1998 home run chase between Cardinals first baseman Mark McGwire and Cubs outfielder Sammy Sosa. That will be chronicled on "Long Gone Summer" on ESPN on Sunday night.
